We were just thinking about how Bishop Long’s church membership has went down but furthermore how staff have left the church namely Elder Bernice King. Some revelations came to us about what may have really went on and why Bernice King left at that particular time.

Now, if we go back, we can come up with a list that will show the accounts that transpired:

  • The public date of the settlement resolution announcement:  May 25th
  • The private date of the actual settlement resolution: after Easter week around April 30th

Bishop Long Statement on Elder Bernice King

Reverend Bernice King has made tremendous and profound contributions to New Birth as an Elder and faithful servant of our Lord Jesus Christ.

For some time now, Reverend King and I have been in discussion and prayer about the call of God on her life to continue the legacy of her father and mother, the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King.  This is a compelling mandate that places Reverend King squarely in the center of God’s Will for her life and I am in full support of her decision to leave New Birth in pursuit of this worthy endeavor.

Bernice King Says ‘New Birth Was For a Season’, Will Start New Ministry

Rev. Bernice King was interviewed on Atlanta’s Praise 102.5 with host Rhodell Lewis on Tuesday. The interview was a bit disappointing as the station played more music than the interview but we received what most of you want to know about her leaving New Birth Missionary Baptist Church.

Firstly, she announced that she wanted everyone to trust what she will be saying and to ‘take her word’ for what she would state. She said she chose this forum because for 8 months she has been on this show with Praise 102.5′s Rhodell Lewis and she trust its audience.

‘Calling All Men’ to Attend Men’s Only Late Night Prayer Says Bishop Long

We just don’t know when it will cease. We are referring to Bishop Long and and his shenanigans. On Sundays, Bishop Long always has a special video message he presents to his congregation in during services and for his televised services on StreamingFaith.com. Well, this Sunday was no different. While we are all waiting to see the result to his sexual misconduct case, Bishop Long is doing business as usual. In fact, he’s getting bold these days and this time he’s calling “only men and all men” to a late night prayer service from 10:00 p.m. – 12:30 a.m. for the next three Mondays.
