Update: Rep. Gabrielle Giffords Moving to Rehab Friday

Good news for U. S. Representative Gabrielle Giffords, she will be moving into a Texas rehabilitation clinic on Friday. This is great new for her husband and parents who are excited about her recovery. CNN reports her parents had long been worried about her safety.

Mark Kelly, Giffords husband and astronaut claims he had many discussions with her about what could occur, before the day of the shooting. There had been many threats against she and other members in Congress. Kelly also says he does not have time to think about the shooter, but just remain positive about his wife’s condition. He says she is showing clear signs of recovery, doing things she used to do to reveal her love for him, by touching and playing with his wedding ring.

Update: Gabrielle Giffords No Longer in Critical Condition

This is really a clear sign of miracles still occur in the 21st century. U. S. Representative Gabrielle Giffords is showing positive signs, eight days after being shot in the brain says CNN.

In a public release statement, released on Sunday, a spokesperson of University Medical Center in Tuscon said Rep. Giffords is continuing to do well.

Miraculously, Giffords has been off of the ventilator and breathing on her own through a through a tracheotomy tube.

Sen. Kristen Gillibrand who is a friend of Rep. Giffords says she is moving on both sides of her body today.

First Lady Michelle Obama Pens Letter About Tucson Tragedy

We just received news that First Lady Michelle Obama just penned a letter to parents across the nation about the tragedy in Tucson that took the lives of 6 victims including a 9 year old girl on Saturday.

It was appropriate that the First Lady take time to address the families of America about what this tragedy as caused in the eyes of young people, children and all Americans. She tries to shed some hope to parents and everyone across America of we can encourage one another.

Ex-Girlfriend Says Jared Loughner Went ‘Mad’ After Break Up

Jared Loughner had a typical life as a teenager when he met his high school girlfriend in 2004. She, Kelsey Hawkes stated that when they were together in high school, Jared had goals and aspirations until she broke up with him and it seemed as if life was over for him. Plus, below we found another girlfriend, Ashley Figueroa who describes Loughner in a similar bout different fashion.

WBC Protest Called Off For Publicity But Exploited Arizona Victims

News has stated that the Westboro Baptist Church that planned to protest the 6 victims of the Arizona shooting on Saturday has called off the protest. Well, its not all because they came to their senses of course but only for an exchange for publicity. What?!

On Tuesday, daughter of founder of WBC Shirley Phelps-Roper has been promised an interview with 102.1 The Edge in Toronto, Canada if they agreed to call off the protest. We found that this is not the first time they have “called a bluff” on a protest. We did some research and found in 2006, Shirley Phelps-Roper called off a similar protest planned for the funerals of Amish schoolgirls who were shot to death in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in exchange for publicity.
