The Examiner.com gives the latest in the case and new filings as well which revealed the judge (pictured above) that will be in the case of Vanessa Long’s divorce:

On December 9, 2011, Vanessa’s lawyer Jett filed a “notice of appearance” and “certification of service” — and most recently on December 12, 2011, there was a filing on behalf of Bishop Eddie Long listed as an “acknowledgment of service” docket filing, as well as a certificate of service.

New Birth has always had some ‘Eddie Long’ fearing church supporters but this is truly outrageous. On the video, an older woman who has been protesting Long’s resignation from the church was threatened by two African American women in a small white car with NJ license plates. The women that was driving the car came unto the curb as if to hit or run over the protestor. As another male protestor came from across the street to see what was going on, the car then turned and came after him!.

One of our very diligent writers researched and found some proof that Vanessa Long had not recanted on her divorce petition. This picture of the actual letter sent to news outlets below is clearly not from Vanessa Long. It was provided by 11Alive.com. The letter bears the New Birth church logo and the letterhead is from The Franklin Media Group. The Franklin Media Group is headed by Art Franklin who is Bishop Eddie Long and New Birth Church spokesman. Art Franklin was a former news anchor for WBRC, WDZZ, WXIA and WAGA.
