This year’s event will be in Nashville for the Love Fellowship Choir leader for his Hezekiah Walker ChoirFest 2013. It seems like just another bubblegum gospel event with loose and secular gospel types of music and dance going on.
This event will be on during Stellar Gospel Music Awards weekend featuring appearances by Donald Lawrence, Tye Tribbett, VaShawn Mitchell, Ricky Dillard, and the one and only Hezekiah Walker and many church choirs around the globe.
We can see what a worldly time they will have and all of the pseudo or naive Christians who will be piled up at the event to get their praise on!

Thanks to a close source, we were given this interesting statement from a man that has some insight on the gospel industry and its commercialization that trumps hip hop in many ways.
Take this as you may- for many people like himself have heavy opinions on the subject.

New Age Gospel Artist Fred Hammond’s New Music Is Pure Secular [VIDEO]
Fred Hammond is pretty proud of this new album which is reaching top ranks on the Billboard’s gospel sales charts and his album debuts as #1 and also hitting #8 on the Billboard Top-200. Thanks to Elev8.com for the information on this.
But since he is officially tapping into secular music on this album, how is it being received? Well, apparently it is doing well and achieving much recognition from his fans and gospel music fans all over the world. The question is why is it being received so well?

God, Love and Romance, slated to release Jan. 31, gives an honest perspective on love and marriage. Hammond says more Christians should explore this topic when singing, preaching or teaching.“One of the things that I scratch my head over is why do we go to Psalms and Proverbs, skip over [Song of Solomon], and go to Ecclesiastes?” he said in a YouTube interview. “We act like it doesn’t exist, but God thought it was important enough to say it.”The album features love songs that run the gamut of relational experiences. Hammond is currently unmarried after his 2004 divorce to his wife of 17 years. Songs on the album speak of Hammond’s personal experiences in love, addressing topics such as falling head-over-heels, emotional pain of a broken relationship and going on a first date–again.Hammond insists the album is not your traditional gospel album and may make some uncomfortable, but it does deal with the practical human side of life and love.Read more here

Singer Fred Hammond To Release A ‘Love Song’ Album for The Ladies
Gospel singer Fred Hammond will release a secular love song album soon. Reports say he informed his fans he is dealing with ‘love’ in a new light plus a little jazz as well. It’s said to be a album for the ladies, for women.
The already unconventional gospel artist Fred Hammond is not doing anything new. His former group Commissioned with Marvin Sapp were totally off the track of traditional gospel in the 1990′s so there’s no surprise that Hammond is going all the way and producing a secular album.We are no sure anyone would consider his music conventional since he had been grouped in the same category with bubblegum gospel artists, Kirk Franklin, Mary Mary, Tye Tribbett, Yolanda Adams and so many more.

We have been saying this forever. Why don’t hip hop or R&B gospel singers just go secular. It would rid the hypocrisy they have placed on the gospel music industry.
Well, here’s gospel group Mary Mary breaking more ground once again and with their, what we call, “Bubblegum Gospel”.
But this time they aren’t dubbing the tunes and lyrics of some old school or hip hop group and making it their own ‘inspirational’ style. They decided to go all the way and sing Bruno Mars, “Just the Way You Are”.
