Are Pastors Allowing Godly Manhood To Be Attacked in the Church?

Are Pastors Allowing Godly Manhood To Be Attacked in the Church?

We have thought about this for some time now. When you think about how many of our churches, African American churches have allowed the enemy of homosexuality into the house of God, you have to wonder who is in charge. Well, it is very clear that many churches have issues like all churches do, but does the pastor have full control over what goes on in the church? We can’t blame the pastor for everything that goes on in the church but when the minister of music is able to flaunt his effeminate self in front of the church, there is an issue.  When the choir is able to ‘move and groove’ while singing songs of Zion, there is an issue?  When the choir is singing songs that are less godly and more worldly in the church, there is an issue.

Pastor Shirley Caesar Talks New Music and Trying to Still Represent the Pentecostal Persuasion

Reports state in a interview with Pastor and gospel singer Shirley Caesar that she knows her audience so well, she says they can expect songs in the traditional sprinkled “with a contemporary flavor.”  She says the album will have “country gospel, traditional gospel, as well as contemporary gospel, [and] praise and worship songs.”  Caesar admits her listeners can look forward to a few surprises but will not hear anything that compromises her integrity as a representative of Christ.

Thanks to a close source, we were given this interesting statement from a man that has some insight on the gospel industry and its commercialization that trumps hip hop in many ways.

Take this as you may- for many people like himself have heavy opinions on the subject.

Note: We don’t agree with every aspect of his note but there’s much to think about as you read on.

How Gay Gospel Artists Left a Tainted Legacy- From Holy to Not At All [Part Three]

This is Part 3 which we will explore a gay gospel artist and minister and his part in starting a gay revolution in the black church by pure disobedience.

This is presumably the last part of our series: How Gay Gospel Artists Left a Tainted Legacy For Today’s Generation. We do not plan to add to this series as we feel this may complete the subject… for now. We will discuss a very important issue about how gay gospel artists emerged. We will specifically focus on one corner of the country that made a huge impact on gospel music and the gay culture in the church.

[NEW] How Gay Gospel Artists Left a Tainted Legacy for Today’s Generation [Part 2]

This is part two of this article about how gay gospel artists left a tainted legacy for our generation today. We felt the need to expand this subject especially today as gospel music has evolved in something much more than just ‘singing’. Gospel music has turned into a industry of hefty money makers and revolutionaries. Though many artists from the early 1960′s and earlier sang gospel music because they ‘love the Lord’, grew up in the church and wanted to spread the gospel, it quickly turned into a money making machine that created more than just records. The gospel music industry became a way of expressing the views of society both political and sexual. Let’s speak on the sexual part because this is what is taking over our society today through homosexuality and gay rights.

Tonex AKA B Slade’s Video Explains How A Father’s Absence Causes Same Sex Attraction

We were alerted to Tonex’s new video “Daddy” which is lyrical but may explain why he has same sex attraction. It shouldn’t take a psychologist to realize that the absence or abuse of a parent, especially from the same gender, will cause some dysfunction in families. It not only causes dysfunction within the family unit but it can also cause emotional issues and unexplained same sex attraction. The issue with this is children do not realize what this really is until they are adults and come to a place of putting the pieces together.

How Can A NFL Player Stand for Marriage But A Gospel Singer Would Not (Karen Clark Sheard)

You are probably wondering what does this title mean? Well, the title is totally true in the case we are about to present to you.

Last week, retired NFL hero David Tyree released a video interview he did with National Organization for Marriage (NOM). NOM is an organization that stands for traditional marriage as for one woman and one man. David Tyree included in his interview not only some information about his career as the Giant’s football superhero but he expressed very candidly about his love for God, his reverence for His will and his stance against same sex marriage.

J. Moss Past Alleged Confession As A Sex Symbol In The Gospel Music Industry Caused Extreme Carnality

Here at AT2W, time and time again, we have informed you of God’s warning for the church.   We did not want to go back and bring a report that was settled in court, but a tipster sent us this link that revealed Moss thinking of himself as a sex symbol who never made any apologies to the body of Christ for doing so.   Why should he? Simply, because there are no sex symbols, there should not be any in the body of Christ and it should have never been discussed.  Moss and a host of others should be more of an example than stooping down to a worldly status as a sex symbol. His past narcissistic thoughts of himself has caused extreme carnality since his interview in 2009.  Although, the church has already been carnal and many gospel artists have not conducted themselves in a holy fashion, according to God’s Word for many years, God did not need anymore distraction with followers and fans of J. Moss to also be conceded to think of themselves as sex symbols.   We may have heard interviews about his past affair and his alleged claim of being a  gospel music artist who drew fans through sexual attraction during his performances, but we did not hear of him making an apology of being a negative example to our youth, fathers and even ministers who may admire him.
