Oprah Winfrey has just discovered her half-sister who was put up for adoption by her mother, Vernita Lee, over 50 years ago. The woman’s name is Patricia who lives 90 miles away from Oprah in Milwaukee, WI. Oprah explained how Patricia searched for her family over a year, ago.

Oprah and Patricia’s mother Vernita Lee says she gave her up for adoption, because she was afraid she would not be able to get off of welfare.   Lee had claimed she had two children to die, one of those children was Patricia.
