New Jersey HS Teacher Arrested For Trying to Lure Student on Facebook For Sex

Educator Thomas Weir, 50, was arrested and faces child sex assault-related charges. This New Jersey high school teacher is accused of messaging a student on Facebook and offering $50 for sex, police said.

Thomas Weir was a veteran teacher at John F. Kennedy High School in Paterson and was charged with attempted sexual assault, attempted endangering the welfare of a child, luring/enticing a child and official misconduct.

Several reports identified the student as male, although authorities wouldn’t confirm the sex or age of the victim.

The educator faces up to 10 years for each count if convicted.

Just another day and one more unseemly act of a trusted teacher. This teacher may look sweet as pie but she’s far from that when it comes to her conduct with students at her school.

She not only inappropriately sexually violated one student, but did so with seven altogether. Shame on her for misguiding these kids into a sexual relationship with her. SMH

Teacher Lindsey Trimble Arrested for Sex with Student

Lindsey Trimble is a 28-year-old science teacher at  Fresno’s Clovis High School. Trimble was sent to jail Thursday after she allegedly had sex with a student.

According to Clovis police, an investigation revealed Trimble allegedly had sex with a 17-year-old student.

Investigators say Trimble is married yet had sex with the student multiple times at her home in Fresno County. The alleged sexual relationship took place between March and July of this year.

Brooklyn High School Teacher Arrested For Having 3-Year Relationship With Student

A Brooklyn high school teacher was pulled from her classroom and arrested after a teenage female student said they shared a three-year “intimate relationship,” education officials and law enforcement sources said.

The NY Daily News reports:

Cops arrested and charged Urszula Jankowska, an English teacher at Williamsburg High School for Architecture and Design, with:

  • committing a criminal sex act
  • forcible touching
  • and endangering the welfare of a child

The head of a northern Virginia private school says the school is “deeply disturbed” by the news that a former longtime teacher has been charged with sexual assaults involving four of his students from the 1960s.

Fairfax County Police on Friday arrested 73-year-old Christopher Kloman of McLean after a yearlong investigation.

AT2W’s THOS: Two Las Vegas Teachers Arrested on Solicitation of Sex by Student

Two teachers in Las Vegas were arrested Monday and accused of having sex with a 16-year-old Basic High School student, Henderson police said.

Bambi Dewey, 32, and John Stalmach, 31, were each booked at the Henderson Detention Center on charges of solicitation of a minor for sex.

Stalmach was booked an extra charge on a charge of sexual conduct between a teacher and a student. All of the recommended charges are felonies.

New Jersey teacher Erica DePalo was awarded the Essex County, New Jersey Teacher of the Year award in 2011. Unfortunately, her respected standing as a ‘good teacher’ is now tainted. On Friday, DePalo was arrested after being accused of taking part in a sexual relationship with one of her students. A 15 year old student who was one of her Honors English students came forward with the claims.
