Three Shot At Gardena California High School

The student who was responsible for shooting three students is now in police custody.   A spokesman of the Los Angeles Unified School District says it was an accidental shooting when the suspect slammed his backpack down on his desk, which authorities doubt.  The shooting occurred at Gardena High School.

Los Angeles Fire Department reported one student in critical condition and the other one in stable condition.  It is unknown of the condition of the third victim.

Gardena High School has been reported to have no police detectors on their premises.
