Gospel Great Albertina Walker and Her Song “I’m Still Here”

If you’ve been through anything, this song tells it all. If you thought you would never make it through your situation, God was there. Whenever you need a word from God, there is always a song that can testify to what you have been through.

This song, “I’m Still Here” by the late Albertina Walker means so much to me because I was homeless for nearly 2 years and this song nurtured and blessed me so. When God blessed me and my family off the streets, this song was my anthem.

Still Anointed: “Trust Me” By Gospel Singer Richard Smallwood and Vision

This is one gospel singer who seems to never move to the left or right in his music. He continues to move forward and upwards. Richard Smallwood is a dynamic composer and producer of gospel music that gives us the gospel sound but incorporates the beautiful melodies of a symphony. Richard Smallwood has done it again in his new album, “Promises” and hit single “Trust Me”.

Aretha Franklin Singing Song: “Bridge Over Troubled Waters”

We found this song as a remake from Aretha Franklin. We are not sure if she meant it to be a gospel song, but we all know how Aretha Franklin can sing any song and probably not intend it to be gospel. We know that because gospel truly flows in her veins, she just can’t help it.

Introducing Gospel Music Set Apart Blog: Hear What Real Gospel Music Sound Like

We here at AT2W write a lot about how gospel music has changed and made a total impact on the secular world as well as the church community. If you are old enough to remember, gospel music used to really stir the soul and get us up out of our seats to worship our Lord, Jesus Christ. Though what they call ‘gospel music’ today may seem very popular and moving, it will never equate to what the pioneers did for us years ago.

Gospel Music: Though Its Evolved, Don’t Give Up on God’s Worship

Gospel Music: Though Its Evolved, Don’t Give Up on God’s Word

We here are AT2W have given our opinion on many things here on this website. We have been called “judgmental’, ‘not God-Like’ for expressing our views on this blog. Well, that is what we do. We can admit that we have been hard on some folks but revealing the truth carries much weight. It digs into issues most want to sweep under the rug, ignore and act like it doesn’t matter. But the truth is, it does matter. We all know how to accept people for who they are but there is also a time to show the love of God and tell each other what may be wrong.
