The question is, ‘does God desire for pastors of the black church to be divided on gay marriage’? Our question is yes, absolutely yes. God does not want us to mingle with those whom dishonor His biblical scriptures against homosexuality. Division is only understood when a group of people refuse to follow God’s commandments. The Bible clearly lets us know this in Amos 3:3, when the question was asked, ‘Can two walk together, except they be agreed?’

Now that President Barack Obama has made it very clear, he is not opposed to same-sex marriage, those of us whom are straight black women can’t help but wonder has his agenda placed us in a worst situation, than it has already is. It was already hard to find a good black man of our choice. We cannot help but wonder if this is going to cause more black men to choose homosexuality. It has already been very difficult to connect with many black men, after the down low issue.
