#BlackLivesMatter Groups List Six Demands of the Movement
More than 60 groups that are part of the Black Lives Matter Movement teamed up to release the agenda, which included six demands related to police and criminal justice reform as well as 40 recommendations on how to address them, the Associated Press reports.

We are not surprised at what this man has to say about why black men and women are getting killed by our officers in blue. He is pretty adamant that it is a conspiracy and that it is all planned. Well, black people pretty much already know this but the detail coming from a Caucasian man is very disturbing yet shocking to know he is disturbed by it.

SC Student Who Encouraged Others to Film School Cop Assaulting Other Student, Charged?
These schools and their ways of showing discipline is ridiculous. The school and the court have charged one student for telling others to videotape the incident when the school resource officer Ben Fields drug a female student from her chair in front of her classmates last October. So, you get charged for informing others to tape an offense that was clearly wrong? What is wrong with this picture? Thank God someone did or he would have gotten away with it.

Officer Michael Slager Released from Jail in Walter Scott Murder
A former South Carolina police officer charged with murder in the shooting death of an unarmed black motorist was released from jail Monday evening and will remain under house arrest until his trial which is scheduled to begin in late October.
Circuit Judge Clifton Newman agreed with a defense request earlier Monday that Michael Slager be released on a $500,000 surety bond.
Slager was released from jail custody about 7 p.m., said Maj. Eric Watson, a spokesman for the Charleston County Sheriff’s Department.
Freddie Gray’s Family to Receive $6.4 Million from City of Baltimore
The city of Baltimore has reached a $6.4 million settlement in a lawsuit filed by the family of Freddie Gray, the 25-year-old man black man who died in April after suffering a neck injury while in police custody.
The settlement is expected to be approved Wednesday at a meeting of the city’s Board of Estimates, which oversees city spending, the mayor’s office said.
Last week a judge ruled that the six police officers charged in connection with Gray’s death can be tried separately.
Friend of Slain Michael Brown Arrested on Drug Charges
The friend who was with Michael Brown on the day the unarmed African American teen was shot and killed by a white police officer has been arrested.
Dorian Johnson was arrested Wednesday afternoon,KSDK-TV reported. Police had been called to check on a group of people who were possibly armed with guns. Johnson was accused of approaching an officer to keep him from making an arrest, and police say he also threw suspected narcotics onto the ground.
Charges are expected to be filed Thursday, KSDK reported.

A newly released video of an August 2013 arrest shows a white Dover, Delaware police officer kicking a Black suspect in the head, sparking calls for department reforms in the wake of numerous police brutality incidents nationwide, Delaware Online’s The News Journal reports.
The video, captured by a dashboard camera on Aug. 23, 2013, shows the moment Cpl. Thomas Webster IV walks up to Lateef Dickerson as he complies with officers’ demands to lie face down on the ground. As he does, Webster kicks him in the head once, leaving Dickerson unconscious. The victim’s jaw was also broken.
Here They Are! The Six Cops Charged with Death of Freddie Gray
So here they are. The six officers who are now charged in Freddie Gray’s death from injuries he suffered while in police custody.
State’s Attorney Marilyn J. Mosby says the officers repeatedly failed to get Gray medical treatment after his arrest. The police officers’ union has said they are not responsible for Gray’s death.
