Spiritual Guru Iyanla Vanzant Gets New Show on Oprah’s OWN Network

While many people may be very excited about this news, why is Oprah giving her longtime rival Ivanya Vanzant a chance to have a show on her OWN network? Would it have anything to do with the fact that Oprah Winfrey’s OWN network is in trouble.

Essence.com has reportedly confirmed that spiritual and motivational speaker Iyanla Vanzant is set to receive her own show on OWN.

Steve Harvey Has Ex Wife Mary Harvey Arrested AGAIN To Allegedly Keep Her Away from Son [VIDEO]

Apparently, Steve Harvey is back to his tricks with his ex-wife Mary Harvey. Mary Harvey was arrested on Halloween day in front of her two sons. The police kept her in jail most of the day while Steve Harvey had attorneys draw up a temporary restraining order against her from seeing her son, Wynton whom she does not have custody.

Mary Harvey, Ex-Wife of Steve Harvey Was Issued an Arrest Warrant

Reports stated that ex-wife of comedian Steve Harvey was issued an arrest warrant on Friday according to sources. Apparently, Mary Harvey missed a court date in February so the judge issued a warrant. Sources say she turned herself in at the Beverly Hills Courthouse Friday.

Mary Harvey has recently done a taping on VH1′s “Basketball Wives” reality show for Executive Producer Shanae Hall, the former wife of an NFL player-turned-author who penned the book “Why Do I Have To Think Like a Man?”

We thought we’d take a look at Oprah Winfrey’s last show. We didn’t know what to expect but we figured we’d find some interesting things that she had to say and she surely did.

So here’s our review of ‘Oprah’s Farewell Show- 25 Years’:

While OWN Network CEO is Fired, Oprah Admits Low Ratings Was her Mistake

Oprah Winfrey interviewed recently about how the OWN network is doing so far. She told Entertainment Weekly that she admits that she regrets starting the OWN Network at this time of rounding down the Oprah talk show was the wrong time and her mistake. She stated she has not dedicated enough time to the network while bringing her talk show to an end of 25 years.

Oprah Fires CEO of OWN Network for Ratings Below Expectations

News reports have stated this week that Oprah Winfrey has outed her CEO of OWN Network, Christina Norman. Apparently, the network is still struggling with slow ratings and the person at the top running it got the axe. Sources state Christina Norman ‘abruptly left the 4 month old channel.

Norman came aboard as the CEO of OWN Network in January 2009. She was formerly president of MTV for 17 years and she worked herself up from the bottom to acquire that position.

The ‘Steve Harvey Project’ has invited the “Real Housewives of Atlanta’s ~~Mr.~~ Miss Lawrence to feature on a segment of his radio show that will air on BET’s Centric. The segment will be called “Spilling The Tea With Lawrence” with plenty of obvious celebrity gossip.

Iyanla Vanzant was invited to the Oprah show this week. From what we found out via a reader and our research, she was there to face and clear the air about what happened to her friendship/business relationship with Oprah. Apparently, over 11 years ago, Iyanla was taking stage on Oprah’s show and when someone slipped her a note from Barbara Walter’s camp wanting to give her a show. She went to Oprah and associates to try and get one they said they would give her in due time. Well, it all must have been an ugly sight when, Oprah’s team sent her on her way when she received a letter in the mail stating they wished her well and, in so many words, ‘don’t come back’. So, after all these years, she has come together with Oprah and now tells her side of the story and apologizes to ‘O’.
