The father, Jean Pierre of three drowned children in the Hudson River a week ago says he is not directly responsible for the deaths of his children and LaShanda. He broke his silence on Wednesday stating:
“I have been inaccurately portrayed as being directly responsible for the tragedy,” Pierre said in a prepared statement released through a lawyer. “If I could, I would have changed some things in my past. I loved Landen, Lance, Laianna, Lashanda and still love La’Shaun with all my heart,” Pierre said, “and am shocked and distraught by what happened.”
On the day of the terrible drive into the Hudson River by LaShanda Armstrong and her children, Jean Pierre, the deadbeat dad violated a restraining order. Just hours before LaShanda took that fatal drive to the Hudson, the father of her three youngest children was issued a restraining order that barred him away from the family.
A neighbor of Armstrong stated she heard Pierre banging on her door and yelling to get in after the restraining order was issued. He continued his rant at the door for 30 minutes until he left. Then nearly 15 minutes later, LaShanda left that chilling update on her Facebook page before heading to the river.

Remember what we said in our prior article, Lashanda Armstrong, Mother Drives 3 Innocent Children into Hudson River, 1 Escapes? We revealed to you that it was a great possibility that Lashanda Armstrong was cracking up, having a nervous breakdown and this is what caused her to not feel anything about driving into the lake. This young mother of four children and wife lost her mind, she could no longer cope. People who go insane are unable to realize what is going on or what actions they may take and the action of just driving into the lake at night seems like her brain was no longer working.
