An amazing night for the Golden Globe watchers and winners. It was an especially amazing night for comedienne, talk show host and actress, Mo’nique.
She was nominated and won the award for ‘Best Performance By an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture’.
Global Grind states, “Mo’Nique is the third Black woman in history to win a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress, following Whoopi Goldberg for Ghost in 1991 and Jennifer Hudson for Dreamgirls in 2007.”
