Eagles Quarterback Michael Vick to Wed in June

Michael Vick is making news this week. He has set a wedding date with his fiancée Kijafa Frink, reports revealed Wednesday.

The couple became engaged right before Vick served 21 months in prison and two months on home arrest over a dog fighting scandal in 2007.

Vick and Frink will wed on June 30 before 300 guests at the Fountainbleu Miami Beach, reported The New York Post.

Sources say that the wedding guest list includes Vick’s mentor and former coach Tony Dungy, Eagles’ coach Andy Reid, Vick’s agent Joel Segal, as well as several NFL players such as Eagles’ running back LeSean McCoy.

Michael Vick: From Prison to $100 Million Signing Deal with Philadelphia Eagles

It seems like a world ago when Michael Vick was just convicted of dog fighting and activists were digging their teeth into him. Well, perhaps he has paid his dues and has truly grown up from his hard experiences that a deal like this will be his ultimate second chance.

According to Andrew Brandt, a frequent blogger at The Huffington Post , the Eagles and Vick have agreed on a six-year $100 million contract extension, which is more money (although with one more year) than Peyton Manning was able to get just a few weeks ago. ESPN’s Adam Schefter confirmed Brandt’s report on Twitter, adding that the deal includes $40 million in guarantees.

Michael Vick must need alot of attention or alot more money. He’s been reported to be planning to pose nude for Playgirl!

Well he won’t be getting any of the $1 million dollars they will pay him.

He’s making that 1 mil to pay a donation to the pay the animal rights group named PETA.

Well, he’s gotta keep paying his due that’s for sure!!

NFL Player Larry Johnson Suspended For Making Twitter Comments About His Coach

NFL Player, Larry Johnson, 29, must have been very mad about his team losing 30 points. However, he made twitter comments about his coach that was not very nice. His derogatory comments were very insulting to his coach and Johnson also made gay slurs about him. Larry Johnson is suspended until November 9th and will have to pay up $600,000. Larry Johnson’s tweeting caused him to lose more than a half a million dollars. Did he have to get on Twitter, instead of facing his coach like a man and tell him why he really was mad? It seems as though his ire was regarding something more than losing points.
