On February 3rd, Malcolm Shabazz, grandson of human rights activist El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz (Malcolm X), was arrested by the FBI while en route to Iran to attend a Hollywoodism conference. See video below about what happened to he and his mother while on that trip.

Malcolm Shabazz is the grandson of the late civil rights leader Malcolm X and was arrested by the FBI on Monday while en route to Iran to attend a Hollywoodism conference, Press TV reports. The arrest appears suspicious since the FBI is refusing to provide any details on the arrest and Shabazz’s whereabouts are unknown, reports stated.
The Examiner reported the Hollywoodism Conference was held as part of the 31st Fajr International Film Festival held in the Iranian capital Tehran on Sunday. Many filmmakers, directors, actors, and movie critics as well as politicians and economists took part in the conference.

His grandmother, Betty Shabazz, widow of Malcolm X, was killed in a fire he started 11 years ago. He was 12 years old. He had been shuttled in and out of correctional institutions until his release from Attica Prison in February 2007. Now MALCOLM SHABAZZ, 24, is on a mission: to clear his name, stay out of jail and rise from the ashes of his past.

Malikah Shabazz Arrested for Not Paying Restitution
Malcolm X’s Daughter Malikah Shabazz Jailed for Failure to Pay Restitution in Court Order
News reports have announced Malcolm X’s youngest daughter has been jailed for failing to make good on a promise to pay back the $55,000 she swindled from an elderly Queens woman.
A Queens judge ordered Malikah Shabazz to held Tuesday night after probation officials said she’d failed to make any of the monthly $1,229 restitution payments she agreed to as part of a plea deal.

Malcolm X’s Daughter Malikah Shabazz Faces Criminal Charges in NY
News reports state on February 22, authorities have extradited Malikah Shabazz, youngest daughter of twins from Malcolm X and mother Dr. Betty Shabazz, from North Carolina to New York for alleged identity theft charges from 2009.
Shabazz, holds a doctorate in Educational Administration and Human Development but is allegedly going to have to stand trial in Queens, NY for charges: grand larceny, stolen property, and criminal possession of forgery items.

Kanye West is so embarrassed after taking the microphone from Taylor Swift while she was giving her acceptance speech at the MTV Music Video Awards, he has decided to cancel his tour. He was suppose to go on a 34-show tour with Lady Gaga and fans will immediately receive a refund. Although, he apologized the following night on The Jay Leno Show, Kanye West said that all celebrities need to take time off, but his announcement on The Jay Leno Show was not taken seriously, by a lot of fans.
