Paula Deen Featured on ‘Master Chef’ Episode [VIDEO]
Paula Deen has the privilege of setting up a luncheon for volunteers. The dishes will be southern style cooking: Kentucky chicken, Louisiana catfish, Alabama pork chops, Mississippi shrimp and alligator.
We wonder if this is what Judy Smith aka Olivia Pope has planned out for her comeback. We have to remember that the discrimination court case against us has been dropped. Apparently, a judge felt a white woman can not feel or be offended by racial discrimination toward her black employees. Now if that’s not racist, we don’t know what is.

There seems to be some friction going on with a worker of Paula Deen and Deen kitchens. A woman named Dora Charles worked for Deen for 22 years. She stated in an interview that she helped open restaurants that made Paula Deen’s career; developed recipes, trained other cooks and made sure everything tasted right. before it was served to customers.

It certainly has been a rocky road for Mrs. Paula Deen. She has lost many endorsements and has had to stomach many people coming out and outing her racist ways in the past weeks since the scandal broke.
Well, regardless of how many companies have dropped Paula Deen, she seems to be getting some favor, or is she? A report from Eater.com, stated the Food Network, who was the first to drop Deen amidst the racial scandal, is planning to bring her back to the network. Yes! You heard it right. According to the report, this is what was stated:

Paula Deen Takng on New Legal Team and Dropping her Her Former
News reports state Paula Deen has replaced her lead legal team, the latest fallout from her admission she used racial slurs in the past.
In an announcement last week, Deen has cut ties with her longtime agent who helped make her a Food Network star and now she’s retained new counsel.
Grace Speights, an attorney for Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, is new lead counsel for Paula Deen Enterprises Inc. and other defendants in an employment discrimination lawsuit, according to Jennifer Costa, a spokeswoman for the Washington-based firm.

In the video, Paula Deen is discussing how her great grandfather lost his son in the Civil War and that he had lost the Civil War also by losing his 37 slaves. He no longer had help to do ‘the work’ on his plantation and he ultimately shot himself because he couldn’t deal with the changes of blacks becoming free.
Paula Deen Drops Longtime Agent
This is a twist. After Paula Deen has been dropped by over a dozen partners, she’s now stepping up and parting ways with her longtime agent. Deen had worked with New York agent Barry Weiner for more than a decade. She has said he was instrumental in getting her show Paula’s Home Cooking on the Food Network in 2002.
Here’s her statement about the split but doesn’t include a reason:
“Paula Deen has separated from her agent,” Deen’s spokeswoman, Elana Weiss, said in an email Thursday. “She and her family thank him for the tireless effort and dedication over the many years.”
