We were happy to receive this piece of information that not only addresses gospel music as we used to know it, but Pastor Kevin Shell points out exactly why gospel music has changed to what he calls “One World Music”. New Reality Show for Joel Osteen with Producer of ‘Survivor’ Mark Burnett
It never fails to surprise us what these larger than life, ‘Hollywood’ spirit-filled, holy cash preachers do these days. It’s not enough that preachers like Osteen have gained everything off the backs of Christians but have to tap into anything secular to gain even more money and support. SMH.

“Survivor” producer Mark Burnett is teaming up with Joel Osteen for a primetime network show in 2012, TMZ has learned.Burnett tells TMZ, the premise of the show is that ordinary people will give up several days or longer to go on a mission with Joel Osteen, one of the most popular pastors in the world. All of the missions will be in the confines of US soil to “start fixing things.”
Over the years, “just about every studio in Hollywood” has pitched show ideas to the Osteens, but they’ve always turned them down, until now, said Don Iloff, Lakewood spokesman.
The Osteens have been friends with Burnett and his wife Roma Downey, who are Christians and have visited Lakewood in the past, and they trust Burnett’s vision and expertise in the reality TV medium.
The program is in its early planning stages and has not secured a network to air it or even a name yet. The Osteen ministry team hopes it provides uplifting, positive programming that will bring families together to watch.

It looks like Joel Osteen has found a good friend in Oprah whom he can swap wacky Christian beliefs with. What a Shame!

Oprah Winfrey will be returning to TV screens across the world once again and her new show “Oprah’s Next Chapter,” which will be broadcast on her OWN Network and her very first guests will be megachurch pastor Joel Osteen.“Oprah’s Next Chapter” will be a two-hour episode to debut in January.The chat queen will also tour Skywalker Ranch with “Star Wars” creator George Lucas and will celebrate “the power of God and community” with evangelist Joel Osteen.

So, is Oprah and Tyler Perry going to church to be delivered now? Not really. They couldn’t possibly get anything out to Joel Osteen’s ministry because he like them have proven they are very influential public figures but spread false doctrine to their followers. Unfortunately, they would need to find a real bible based church that preaches Jesus not fluff and ‘everything is o.k.” type of church experience. That’s our opinion.
Oprah was in town interviewing Pastor Joel Osteen as a part of her new series “Oprah’s Next Chapter” premiering in January on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network.Seated in the front row of the crowd of roughly 13,000, Oprah and Tyler Perry were announced as guests at the service. Houstonian Diego Quintanilla, who was sitting near the duo, tweeted: “I’m freaking out!! I can’t breathe! It smells like money and amazingness!!”

I think it would be great to hear many mega church ministers answer some real life questions on a biblical basis. It appears that some of them, like Pastor Joel Osteen of Houston’s Lakewood Church have a huge problem addresses questions that reflect God’s word but why? We will answer that at the conclusion.

We found videos of Lakewood Church Pastor John Osteen, the father of Pastor Joel Osteen. We were able to see a distinct difference in their preaching styles. The father, late John Osteen preached in a traditional style and focused on truth and righteousness. On his video below, “How to Find and Do the Will of God for Your Life”, he specifies people finding their gift and using it for God’s purposes. He even spoke on how people can make millions of dollars and stay out of the will of God which would make them miserable.
