Rev. Jesse Jackson Sued By Former Gay Employee for Sexual Harassment and Discrimination
A former associate and staff member of the Rainbow Coalition accuses Jesse Jackson of sexual discrimination for actions he committed while he was working for Jackson. Tommy Bennett is filing a lawsuit claiming that he was instructed to bring women to Jackson’s room and was even mocked and harassed by Jackson himself.

Tommy R. Bennett who is a regular guest on the Tom Joyner show has filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against Jesse Jackson and his organization, Rainbow Push. Bennett, 55, is an openly gay man who also filed a discrimination complaint with Chicago’s Commission on Human Rights, alleging that he was harassed by colleagues and Jackson himself. Bennett also claims he was terminated from his job at Jackson’s Rainbow PUSH Coalition based on his sexual orientation. We journalists of AT2W agree with Black Christian News on this case, Bennett could very well be used to support Obama’s agenda for the LGBT community as an aim to discredit popular individuals in the African American church who oppose homosexuality based on the Word of God. Therefore, this situation could be a used to scare strong black heterosexual clergy members who refused to affirm the gay lifestyle, regardless of their spiritual values, a conspiracy against Jackson or so we thought until we heard there may have been some sexual contact.
