So Bebe Winans was in the news this week. And it seems as though he is walking ‘scott free’. What the heck?!!
A Nashville judge has decided to dismiss the misdemeanor charges for domestic violence against Bebe Winans.
Apparently, this judge has agreed that since he had been attending counseling that the charges needed to be dropped.
Counseling sessions were required and Judge Gloria Dumas dropped the charges due to no treatment needed for Bebe Winans.

Activists Hate Chris Brown Gets GMA from Adam Lambert
Reports have been sited stating that Rihanna’s ex boyfriend Chris Brown has been given the slot for performance on the Grammy Music Awards as they boot Adam Lambert, due to raunchy AMA stage performance. Adam Lambert’s original interview and performance was cancelled.
Chris Brown will be interviewed on ABC’s ‘Good Morning America’ show and performing afterwards.
Activists for the gay and feminists movements are angered that he will be performing because of his recent beating of then girlfriend Rihanna. They complain that a convicted ‘girlfriend beater’ should not be more valuable to the network then a openly gay man who committed no crime.

Bebe and Cece Winans have been a household name for a long time especially for those who have listened to black gospel music in the 80′s and 90′s.
Actually, to be frank, they have not been just featured as ‘gospel singers’, but the ‘Winans family is greatly known all over the world, and their records have been played on many R&B, Soul and Hip Hop radio stations.
Bebe and Cece Winans have been known as the ‘cross over’ duo in gospel music and their family has prided on this forever. They were the ones who crossed over and created a “contemporary R&B sound to their music. This has given them a sort of secular image but many still honor them as traditional gospel singing groups.

Rihanna has finally decided to break her silence about the troubling incident in February where Chris Brown brutally beat her in a car on their way from a pre-Grammy Award party.
She talks about how she saw a text message on Chris’ phone and continued to ask about it. She knew his back was up against a wall and became violent. She says he had “black look” on his face. She didn’t see any love or life in him at that moment. She called it, “He had not soul in his eyes.”

Well, I guess Oprah must have realized that she was wrong for supporting singer Bebe Winans and rebuking Chris Brown for his indiscretions.
The Oprah Show has announced that it will not have gospel singer and recently assault charged Bebe Winans from her show.
It was announced that while he has pending charges against him for domestic violence against his ex wife Debra Winans at her Nashville home in February this year.
But why did it take all of the media and her die-hard fans to complain about her actions for her to obviously make a wise stand against her longtime friend Bebe Winans?

‘Oprah has a lot of nerve’ says many people who have watched Oprah for years and now she supports one wife beater over another. (I know Chris Brown and Rihanna were not married but bare with me for reporting purposes.)
If you remember, Oprah dedicated shows to domestic violence and rebuked Chris Brown for his actions in the beating of his then girlfriend, singer Rihanna earlier this year before the two were supposed to appear at the Grammy Awards show.

It sounds like Chris Brown wants Rihanna back. According to news reports, Brown posted a link from his Twitter page to a video that portrays he and RiRi with images of them together to background music by R. Kelly’s ‘The Way We Used to Be’. He even added a message that stated: “IM SORRY YALL. JUST HAD TO POST IT.”
I guess he just can’t get over her because it seems as if she is going on with her life. She’s coming out with her new album like he is in December and life is moving on. He has to know that he committed a really immature act and the whole world was witness to it.
