Child Rapper Makes Stance Against Sagging Pants: Amor Lilman – Pull Ya Pants Up (VIDEO)
We don’t support rap and hip hop but when we heard about this song by Amor Lilman “Pull Ya Pants Up”, we thought it may be a catchy way to get to not only the kids but the adults who sag and think its cool. We pray it makes a difference because the sagging is really out of control.

Rapper DMX Performs Gospel Song on Dr. Drew Life Changers Show?
Thanks to C.W. for a tip on this one! This is actually pretty sickening to see. Now that rapper DMX has been released from prison, he apparently has a change of mind and a change of heart. He performs a song called “Keep You Head Up”. At first we thought it was just a spin off the late rapper Tupac’s song but he has actually rapping about God. To be more accurate, he’s taken the 1970′s song, “Keep You Head to the Sky” by Earth, Wind and Fire and turned it into a gospel rap song. DMX did something similar to Mary Mary on the Black Girls Rock! show this month- turning EWF’s secular song and twisting it along with another gospel song.

AT2W Staff Kirk Franklin and Steve Harvey Portray Their Feminine Side in Church Version “Coming to America” Skit
This video, starting at 4:00 is pure ignorance with an effort to feminize the gospel. Eddie Murphy’s “Coming to America” in the 1980′s may have been funny then but it surely is not funny anymore- especially with Kirk Franklin and Steve Harvey playing the roles. Its nothing short of bubblegum gospel at its finest. SMH

Rapper T.I. Released From Prison: Is He Tired Living Like a Gangster?
We talk about how we all need to take responsibility for our actions and deal with the consequences but what we would like see is entertainers leading example for others? Some people in the entertainment industry many times feel they are invincible and untouchable but time and time again they are proven wrong when the cops catch up with them. Many hip hop artists and rappers who continue to have to prove they are high paid gangsters by carrying guns and drugs. Some of those rappers would be DMX, Lil’ Wayne, Suge Knight, etc.

AT2W Staff UPDATE BELOW!
Wow. It never surprises us how people use Twitter as a way to voice just about anything.
A Washington D.C. radio station breaks news from an interview that Cash Money’s rapper Bow Wow had recently stated he wanted to commit suicide on his Twitter page.
He also has tried to explain in the interview what he meant when he publicly said he had suicidal thoughts.
“I ain’t had time to go and play football and do none of the regular stuff. At times, it haunts you because of course you’re going to be unbalanced.”
