Secular Rapper DMX Performs Gospel Song on Dr. Drew Life Changers Show?

Rapper DMX Performs Gospel Song on Dr. Drew Life Changers Show?

Thanks to C.W. for a tip on this one! This is actually pretty sickening to see. Now that rapper DMX has been released from prison, he apparently has a change of mind and a change of heart. He performs a song called “Keep You Head Up”. At first we thought it was just a spin off the late rapper Tupac’s song but he has actually rapping about God. To be more accurate, he’s taken the 1970′s song, “Keep You Head to the Sky” by Earth, Wind and Fire and turned it into a gospel rap song. DMX did something similar to Mary Mary on the Black Girls Rock! show this month- turning EWF’s secular song and twisting it along with another gospel song.

Positive Future Music Industry: Grammys Cut Down on Hip-Hop and R&B Categories

The future is looking very positive for the music industry.   For 2012, the Grammys have cut down on Hip-Hop and R&B categories.   Although, Steve Stoute claims the committee has lost its touch, we see they have gained it, by lowering the status of hip-hop music, which has destroyed not just the youth, but also the Latino and black community in many ways.   It is obvious a new day would finally come for the Grammys to make enormous changes that does not support music, which destroys the souls and minds of our youth.  The negative image of hip-hop even destroyed the stigma within the body of Christ and all for the money, there has been silence because of so much money hip-hop music has supported the multi-million dollar lifestyles of pastors, bishops and gospel artists.

Why Is There So Much Conspiracy Against Professor Griff of Public Enemy In Atlanta

Richard “Professor Griff” Griffin is the probably the only legend from back in the days of political rap.   It seems as though other members of the group Public Enemy have moved on, but Professor Griff continues to speak out against the wrong doing of African Americans in the entertainment industry and those who have badly tainted the black community with bi-racial relationships, violence and joining the Illuminati to gain millions and even billions of dollars.  In Atlanta, the place where there is so much talk about unity and strength among black people, there has been hypocrisy when it comes to Professor Griff and those who refuse to be hypocrites, which are very few people along with him.

Whitney Houston Ignored for Grammy

How could America ignore one of the world’s greatest comebacks this year: Ms. Whitney Houston, for a Grammy?

I just want to know how she not only didn’t get a Grammy but there was no announcement of a nomination at all.

I just don’t understand it. How was she snubbed out of even one Grammy Award.

Let’s just look at Whitney for a minute. She had not made an album in 7 years and a hit album longer than that. She finally left her husband, bad boy Bobby Brown, 2 years ago. She has made a beautiful new start for her life. She took the advice of music label producer, Clive Davis and made a comeback that the world can not deny her credit for.

Whitney Houston Graces Wardrobe Malfunction on X Factor in Europe

Whitney Houston  is taking the world by storm with her new album “I Look to You” which is #2 on the Top 200 album charts. She is doing her thing as ‘if she never left’ is a true statement of her other single with Akon. What an amazing comeback she’s done and the world is embracing her like never before.

Though she does not call this her ‘comeback’ but her ‘come-through’, as she voiced on her appearance on the Oprah show this summer, she had definitely ‘come  through’an amazing breakthrough and she’s taking all of us on a ride with her.

Why Are Some Black Women Disrespecting Erykah Badu?

ErykahBadu_0908Single black women have always been in the black community and there is nothing strange about it.  Whenever you see white women choosing to be single, you do not hear of black women insulting them.  So, why do they always talk about other sistahs? Why are some black women trying to destroy Erykah Badu’s character?  Why are these envious women saying bad things about Erykah Badu, a superstar who protects black women in her lyrics?  Lately, black women have been betraying Erykah Badu, getting all in her personal business.  The word is out about Erykah Badu’s personal life, a single mother of 3 children (Seven, Puma and Mars) who has never been married.  This queen of Neo-soul is a good example for all black girls and women of all ages, but some black women who do not personally know her say otherwise.  Erykah Badu is no different than a lot of black women who have never been married and in this age, a ot of women prefer to be single, because the majority of marriages end up in divorce and children suffer because of it.  For those who prefer to be married, for some reason it is a great possibility they have not found the right man they would choose to spend the rest of their life with, because many good men just do not always show up in a good black woman’s life, for some reason.  That is life, some things do not happen and when it comes to marriage you cannot make it happen, because you may mess up your life and regret it later; Erykah Badu is too smart for silly mistakes.
