AT2W Staff Carla Hughes’ Motion for a New Trial Denied *New UPDATE*
We found news about Carla Hughes and the murder case of Avis Banks and her affair with Bank’s fiance’ Keyon Pittman.
In August, Hughes faced a judged for her request for a new trial.
Hughes and her attorney say many discrepancies were made in the case and she wants a chance at a new trial. The judge presiding the motion denied her request.

She Had it All Before Keyon Pittman: The Carla Hughes Murder Trial Updated

She had it all. Carla Hughes was an out of the ordinary, highly accomplished child, teen and young adult. She excelled in horseback riding, beauty pageants, school council and so much more. Her parents’ home is filled with trophies and plagues of all of her accomplishments. They were and still are very proud of the little girl they named ‘Carla’, after her father. She was adopted from a close relative who could not take care of her. Mr and Mrs Hughes did not have children of their own so they knew this was there opportunity to have a child and knew God was doing this for them.

We have been following the case of Professor Carla Hughes murder trial and observed Keyon Pittman’s responses, gestures, facial expressions and nervous reactions while on the witness stand. We had professional analysts watch the entire trial with us and they noticed the guilt of Keyon Pittman. This man set up his girlfriend for the murder of Avis Banks. Because the trial of Professor Carla Hughes has just finished, there are people looking much further into the double homicide of Avis Banks and her unborn child. However, it takes time to gather facts and investigate witnesses, including the recorded tapes of Keyon Pittman to sum up enough evidence for a trial for a new case. We are aware of Keyon Pittman’s secret phone calls during the investigation of the case and eventually this will be known in the press when new jurors and a new judge in appointed in a future case.

Carla Hughes Gets Life in Prison…Now What?
Now that Carla Hughes gets life without parole, what future does she have? Does she have a life? Now that no good Keyon Pittman lied and stole her freedom, how can Carla Hughes live her life behind prison bars? The response is so obvious, the life of this successful woman is so valuable, including all of the other women in prison, whether they are serving life or prepared for death. Carla Hughes life is just as valuable as it was before she entered the prison system.
