Family Radio’s Harold Camping Issues Statement of Apology for Failed Rapture Predictions

The well known founder of Family Radio of the Oakland Bay area station, Harold Camping is admitting that his predictions of the second coming of our Lord, Jesus Christ was wrong. Take a look at his issued statement.

Dear Family Radio Family,

In this time of confusion and turmoil, God’s Word remains the only truth in which we can trust. God has shown us again the truth that He alone is true. In Romans 3:4 God declares: “Let God be true but every man a liar.” Events within the last year have proven that no man can be fully trusted. Even the most sincere and zealous of us can be mistaken.

Finally: Harold Camping Offers Repentance and Apologies For False Rapture Predictions

Harold Camping Repents and Apologies- Hallelujah!!Finally: Harold Camping Offers Repentance and Apologies For False Rapture Predictions

Thank God! We are so happy that Harold Camping has humbled himself in his own way and now is offering repentance and apologies to the world and to God. This is definitely his start to walking with God in obedience and in spirit.

Here’s a transcript of the audio message, published to Family Radio’s website on Oct. 28, 2011, is below:

We’re living in a day when one problem follows another. And when it comes to trying to recognize the truth of prophecy, we’re finding that it is very very difficult.

Failed Rapture Predictor Harold Camping Is Getting Out of the Prophesy Business

Failed Rapture Predictor Harold Camping Is Getting Out of the Prophesy Business

Harold Camping’s wife has confirmed that the 90-year-old radio evangelist has retired, a documentarian close to Camping told The Christian Post in an exclusive interview.

A documentarian, Brandon Tauszik, who has been attending Camping’s Oakland, Calif., church for eight months told The Christian Post Sunday that he spoke with Camping in person on Oct. 16 before the second coming was supposed to come.
Tauszik said that Camping seemed very unsure about the exact date of the end of the world when they spoke. When asked if he was wondering what would happen Friday (Oct. 21), Camping reportedly said that God has not given anyone the power to know exactly when the Rapture would come – a radical change from what Camping had said only last month in an audio message.
Let’s remember that Harold Camping sounded less sure in September about his calculations, said, “The end is going to come very, very quietly probably within the next month. It will happen, that is, by October 21.”
After Friday’s apocalypse did not occur, Camping refused to speak to the press. Camping’s wife, Shirley Camping, was very suspicious of Tauszik when he appeared at their doorstep, wanting to make sure he was not working for any newspaper or magazine. She added that neither of them wanted to speak to the press.

Harold Camping Says October 21st Is The End of The World On Family Radio

Again, Harold Camping is claiming the world is coming to an end, except it did not end back in May, now tomorrow is the official day this world will end.   Could Harold Camping finally be right?   He does make you think, if Jesus should come now would you be ready.   Do you think you are going to heaven in the life you are living now?

This time Harold Camping is does not sound definite about tomorrow’s date, possibly because many people were prepared back on May 21st to leave this wicked earth and there was no end.  So, sounds like he wants to make sure while claiming the end is October 21st.  He made this announcement on Family Radio.

Harold Camping Claims Corpses Will Emerge from Graves on Oct. 21 Doomsday

On yesterday’s Memorial Day, Harold Camping doomsday preacher predicted Monday that corpses of the “unsaved (sinners),”  which includes those in the U.S. armed services, will be flung out of their graves and on the ground like “manure” on October 21.

Camping’s comments during the Open Forum program on Family Radio yesterday,  comes one week later, after he publicly recanted his predicted date of Rapture, switching it from May 21 to October 21.

Let Us Thank Harold Camping of Family Radio for His False Prophesy

Let Us Thank Harold Camping of Family Radio for His False Prophesy

Some may think that the title of this post is weird but we think we really should thank him. Harold Camping is just one of so many who have tried to predict the end of time for us on this earth. He’s not the only one to do so but the problem is he was incorrect just as so many before him. But let us thank Harold Camping because it reminded us to be on alert. Some may have forgotten that the rapture will occur and that we must be ready if want to be with Him on that day.

The World Did Not End On May 21st, Now Harold Camping Is Hiding Out On May 22

You know there are a lot of atheists who are possibly thinking the Christian world is nuts, all because of Harold Camping’s false representation.   Sometimes, you cannot help but wonder why God allows people to live on, such as Harold Camping who is an 89-year-old false prophet, but of course, we acknowledge it is God’s business, which lets us know that He is worthy and long-suffering.  However, this is the third time Harold Camping has done this, according to sources: 1994, 2001 and now 2011.   The question is, is Camping a shrewd operator who earned his $118 million dollar gross revenue by lying to his followers and radio listeners about Christ’s return?   Or-did he really believe the end of the world what near, each time?

Harold Camping Gets Mad At Refund Request, If World Does Not End on May 21, 2011

You must hear this smart caller who tries to tell Harold Camping who is a false prophet that people who believed the world will end should get their money back on May 22, 2011.   He starts raising his voice, and says, excuse me, “it is going to happen!  The world is going to come to an end on May 21, 2011.” Of course, he adds it was up to the person to send their money to the radio station in the first place, so that’s a hint right there, they will not get a refund.   After May 21, we certainly hope people will stop listening to this man, because a lot of people will be left on the streets, all because they did not believe the scripture that informs us, no man knows the hour of Jesus return.

Harold Camping Says The World Will End on May 21, 2011

Harold Camping, 89, a minister who is known in the media for predicting Jesus return to earth has announced on May 21st, the world will end, for sure.  He has made an announcement in previous years and he was wrong, but he says he is for sure this time.  If you listen to Hank Hanegraaff, you will recorded confessions of people on NPR who have given up their homes, jobs, spent their life savings and prepared for the end of the world.  Why? All because Harold Camping has made a for sure prediction of Jesus’ return on May 21, 2011.  Allegedly,  Harold Camping has revealed himself as a true prophet of Jesus Christ and has made it known that he ignores the scripture that says in Mark 13:32, “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.”
