Singer Fantasia Allegedly Signs Over NC Home to Bank
We guess she gave it her best fight. Since 2009, R&B singer Fantasia Barrino has been trying to keep her mansion in North Carolina which she even won it back from foreclosure in the nick of time.
According to TMZ, last April, she put the home up for sale for $800,00 which was $500,000 less than she purchased it for. Last February, she transferred the deed to the home over to the bank and bypassed the foreclosure process this time.

R&B Singer Fantasia has had it with people talking about her. We didn’t cover it but some websites reported she made derogatory statements about homosexuals. R&B Singer Fantasia’s Brother Teeny Was Robbed At Gunpoint
Recently, Fantasia posted a message on instagram, explaining that her brother, Joseph ‘Teeny’ Barrino, had been robbed at gunpoint.
She told the story as:
Someone tried to hurt my brother last night. They robbed him and held him at gunpoint. God had to be watching over him. Grace and Mercy. Why people feel they can take from someone? I don’t know!! But those who live by the sword will die by the sword. I love you big bro and yes it seems like a set up and those who did this will get what’s coming to you.

Singer Fantasia Cleared From Accusations of Stealing $15,000 From A Church
Fantasia Barrino, and her manager Brian Dickens, were recently exonerated from accusations that they took $15,000 from Harvest Family Church and failed to honor a scheduled appearance at the place of worship.
In March, Barrino and Dickens made headlines after Matthew Herman, Music Ministry Team Organizer for Harvest Family Church, made accusations about the singer’s absence from a scheduled appearance.

Fantasia Barrino Gets Apology From Mahalia Jackson Camp for Unauthorized Statements
Apparently, there has been misjudgement passed about singer Fantasia and her personal life with her boyfriend and expecting baby on the way. The Mahalia Jackson family has apologized for statements made about her not being fit for the role. Now, we can see how their alleged alternate choice being Missy Elliot seemed totally farfetched.

Fantasia’s Lead Role in Mahalia Jackson Biopic to Begin Filming in Fall
The theatrical biopic of famed gospel singer Mahalia Jackson who will be portrayed by R&B singer Fantasia has been invited to be screened at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival.
The film, based on the book Got To Tell It: Mahalia Jackson, Queen of Gospel, is still in pre-production stages but has already gotten a nod to premiere at next year’s Cannes.
“They’ve offered for us to do a screening there,” said executive producer Adrian Taylor. “We can either enter it as competition, or we can have it in the non-competition and premiere it, if it’s edited. It’s got to be ready by April 6 for next year’s Cannes.”

Singer and former American Idol winner is getting ready to cast in a new movie. She has intentionally put on 30-45 pounds of extra weight to fit for the role of gospel legend Mahalia Jackson. She is said to be playing the lead role.
The movie will be directed by Euzhan Palcy and is based on the 1993 book ‘Got to Tell It: Mahalia Jackson, Queen of Gospel.‘ It goes into production in April in Pittsburgh and Chicago for a December release.
