Opponents of Marriage Equality in NY Pass Out 63,000 with David Tyree

Many of the opponents of marriage equality came out strong on Monday at the state capitol in Albany, NY. Several of the demonstrators were Christian ministers, African-American church members and Tea Party organizers. They outnumbered those in support of the controversial bill, which has 31 votes and needs one more vote to pass the New York Senate. The measure was approved by the New York State Assembly last Wednesday, 80 to 63.

Last week, retired NFL hero David Tyree released a video interview he did with National Organization for Marriage (NOM). NOM is an organization that stands for traditional marriage as for one woman and one man. David Tyree included in his interview not only some information about his career as the Giant’s football superhero but he expressed very candidly about his love for God, his reverence for His will and his stance against same sex marriage.

NFL Hero David Tyree is Under Fire for Stance on Traditional Marriage

As we know, we will all go through the fire if we stand for God. Many people say its hate if you stand for Him and against the cares of this world. This is what David Tyree said on his twitter page about the people against him for standing for traditional marriage.

“People of faith…direct some prayers my way. Got darts comin from every direction. Blessed are those persecuted for His name’s sake.”
Despite all of the negative, check out all the of love Tyree is getting from people who are inspired by his faith in God.

Just when you thought the world of big ballers and celebrities would all fall in line for the non-sanctity of homosexual marriage and civil unions, here comes a child of God who only wants to please his Father.

Former Giant’s player David Tyree has spoken out strongly against the legalization of gay marriages in New York and anywhere for that matter. Tyree had a sit-down interview with anti-gay group the National Organization for Marriage and spoke on what he felt about the issue:
