This week at Bishop Eddie Long’s New Birth Missionary Baptist Church continues with church members packing in the sanctuary and worshiping a church and pastor who has used parishioners’ money to fund lavish trips and lifestyles for young men and their Bishop.

Corporate Millionaire Pastors Like Bishop Long Should Seek Souls Not Money
For over 20 years we have seen too many millionaires in the pulpits and too many poor people in their pews and even out on the streets. The movement of the million dollar corporate mega ministries has flourished all over America and reaching abroad. God has had enough of seeing His House made into multi-million dollar corporations. Well known millionaires in the pulpits do not realize God’s wrath on them, possibly except for Bishop Eddie Long.

A very important question is, should pastors (or bishops, evangelists…) and be called celebrities and first ladies be addressed as celebrity wives? According to God’s Kingdom, absolutely not, it is a sin to be honored, glorified and desired to be recognized as celebrity or even as a celebrity wife. Among the body of Christ of today, we have severe rebellion on this issue, even in the pulpits where pastors feel they are entitled to the same worldly prestige as those who are famous sinners. It is very disturbing that we have not heard well-known ministers like Bishop Eddie Long, Bishop T. D. Jakes, Benny Hinn, Joyce Meyer, Creflo Dollar, Paula White and many others who have such fame and fortune publicly deny that they are celebrities. God has been waiting for them to deny it, because it is a sin to be an idol and an idol is a celebrity who expects to glorified over anything or above anyone.

Nowadays, you have ministers who do not believe in the scripture that says, ‘Let everything be done decently and in order’(1 Corinthians 14:40), that means everything must be structured in a holy way, because if it is not, then righteousness is not in the minds, hearts and souls within the body of Christ. That particular scripture goes along with everything we do as children of our Most High God. In this age of the church, there are so many marriages breaking up, lusts are on the minds of the preachers and within their congregations. We have never seen so many marriages breaking up among bishops, pastors, evangelists and their wives, first ladies of God’s House. There has been too much distraction from God in the sanctuaries and it has a lot to do with the way a lot of women and men dress. God is saying now it is time for change and women like Mary Mary should not be ruling the body of Christ any longer.
