30th Annual McDonald’s Gospelfest Features Gospel Artists on May 11

The 30th Annual McDonald’s Gospelfest will feature many artists this year. Some of those in attendance will be:

  • Aretha Franklin
  • Donnie McClurkin
  • Hezekiah Walker
  • Cissy Houston
  • Bishop T.D. Jakes will be speaking and more

McDonald’s Gospelfest will take place on May 11 at the Prudential Center on 165 Mulberry Street, Newark, NJ.

Tickets can be purchased at the Prudential Center Box Office or through Ticketmaster by calling 800.745.3000, or atwww.ticketmaster.com. For further information, please call the McDonald’s Gospelfest 2013  Hotline at 973.643.6262. Competition begins at 3 p.m. The headliner performance will begin at 6 p.m.

Spoken Word Artist ‘God’s Oracle’ Wanted On 2 Counts of Child Molestation in 2 Atlanta Counties

A 47 year old Samuel McCullough is wanted for two counts of Child Molestation in both Fulton County and DeKalb County.

DeKalb County Sheriff Sgt. Adrion Bell said McCullough molested a girl over a six year period.

“At this time she’s about 14 (years old) so he’s been molesting her ever since she was eight,” he said. “On one occasion he is alleged to have molested her on her 10th birthday.”

We have heard just about enough with this one. We will never believe that the Houston Family would even consider doing a reality show on the struggles of Whitney Houston’s life. This is truly and exactly what the press wants. They have always zoomed on her troubles and it appears they just may get their wish in a drama filled reality show.  We think its disgusting and if the family is really signing off on this deal, shame on them! We are sorry but if it is true, there’s no wonder so much conspiracy that surrounded her life and death, her funeral (unauthorized photos taken) and how everyone, and we mean everyone is taking a ride on this gravy train.

We can’t help but say this because it appears so transparent: It seems obvious that Cissy Houston either needs money or wants to be in the spotlight. Is it true what some say about Whitney being broke or not? We respect Cissy Houston but we can’t understand why so many people are cashing in on Whitney’s death. Her mother is even scouting out book publishers too.

Newark, NJ Residents Not Happy to Foot Bill for Whitney Houston’s Funeral

According to the report coming out of the LA Times, residents of the city of Newark, New Jersey are unhappy about being billed the tab for the late and great diva Whitney Houston’s funeral. Reports state her funeral cost her hometown $187,000 in police overtime.

“I think it was a waste of time…. It makes you think twice saying was it worth it or not,” resident Minerva DelValle told the local CBS News affiliate on Friday. Another resident said he thought the family should cover the bill.

Carolyn Whigham of Whigham Funeral Home and two pastors say they do know who took the photo that ran in the National Enquirer. They just aren’t identifying the person and say that’s up to the Houston family.

Whigham told The Star-Ledger of Newark ( http://bit.ly/yrlGLr ) Thursday her funeral home “had no role in this shameful betrayal.” Source

Funeral home owner Whigham says her staff nor herself did not take photos and have circulated it through the National Enquirer to get paid heavily in exchange.

We really thought the photo could have been photo-shopped so we left the story alone. Well, now that Whitney Houston’s mother is apparently going to the authorities to seek an investigation who leaked the photos, we shall give you the latest on the story.
