Former Players Sue NFL Over Brain Injuries

There are three retired football players who are suing the NFL because played so hard in their days on the field that now suffer from brain injuries. The trio want the league to set up a program that will monitor this problem among all former players, reports Bloomberg. These three former athletes—Harry Jacobs, Jerome Barkum, and Tommy Mason—all suffer from brain injuries caused by many frequent tackles during their careers, according to the federal lawsuit. In addition, they are also seeking personal-injury compensation which was unspecified.

Deceased Chicago Bear Dave Duerson’s Autopsy Released

Miami-Dade County of Florida has released the autopsy report of former Chicago Bear Dave Duerson.

Dave Duerson committed suicide in his home in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida on TFebruary. Miami-Dade police have determined it was a self-inflicted gun shot wound to the chest. The incident has been ruled a suicide and foul play has been ruled out due to no visitors to Duerson’s condo for two days.

The news has it fans of the former Chicago Bears safety Dave Duerson committed suicide in his home in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida on Thursday. Miami-Dade police have determined it was a self-inflicted gun shot wound to the chest. The incident has been ruled a suicide and foul play has been ruled out due to no visitors to Duerson’s condo for two days.
