Former Players Sue NFL Over Brain Injuries
There are three retired football players who are suing the NFL because played so hard in their days on the field that now suffer from brain injuries. The trio want the league to set up a program that will monitor this problem among all former players, reports Bloomberg. These three former athletes—Harry Jacobs, Jerome Barkum, and Tommy Mason—all suffer from brain injuries caused by many frequent tackles during their careers, according to the federal lawsuit. In addition, they are also seeking personal-injury compensation which was unspecified.
