Attorneys for Bishop Long’s Accusers Step Down As Long Sues Them to Recoup Settlement

Well, we all knew that if Bishop Long could try and sue the young men for speaking out against the settlement agreements, he certainly would. Though we can understand why the accusers: Jamal Parris, Spencer LeGrande and Centino Kemp might have wanted to tell their stories regardless, it is very clear they will have to deal with Bishop Long a lot longer now.

As for Jamal Parris and Spencer LeGrande, they sound confident that they are willing to fight this all the way.

Bishop Long Breaks Curses, Proclaims Blessings and Speaks in Tongues During Church Service

We purposely tuned into Bishop Long’s New Birth Church service Sunday later to avoid all of the so called ‘Praise and Worship’ at the beginning because its usually a redundant circus of annoying singing.

When we tuned in, we actually caught some of the singing from the choir but Bishop Long must have ordered (for the day) a series of traditional songs that would fit into this service that had much more to do with ‘making a new’ than communion.

Attorneys for Bishop Long Ask Three of Long’s Accusers to Pay Settlement Money Back

Well, we don’t think anyone is surprised that Bishop Eddie Long wants ~~his~~ the church money back. Bishop Long has been hit with two more lawsuits THIS WEEK, so he needs some of it returned. We are sure he had already planned to allegedly ‘go after’ the settlement money from these three accusers because it makes him feel good to finally be in the driver’s seat.

Well, this ‘messy mess’ won’t end til someone is broke down completely. We just don’t know just how soon that may be.

Bishop Eddie Long and New Birth in Court for Sexual Harassment of Ex-Employee

It appears that Bishop Eddie Long is doing some cleaning up from the past and some serious paying up as well. This week Bishop Eddie Long was in court which settled on $2 million dollars he would pay on a defaulted gym loan.

Also, this week, the bishop was scheduled to give a deposition at a Midtown Law firm in Atlanta in the sexual harassment case of a former New Birth employee and another employee. This case was in the news last year.

Bishop Eddie Long to Pay Defaulted Hoops Property Loan of $2 Million

We first reported on this in Oct. 2010 about the alleged Hoop N Fitness gym on Tara Boulevard in Jonesboro, Georgia to be purchased by Long and associates. This was just 2 weeks after the sexual misconduct lawsuits were released to the news. At that time, the courts gave Bishop Long 10 days to pay or be liable for a defaulted loan. Its pretty apparent now he did not meet the deadline.
