Gay Minister of Harvard Supported by COGIC Bishop Charles Blake Died
Rev. Peter J. Gomes (1942-2011) who once was invited by Bishop Charles Blake to speak at WESTA COGIC (West Angeles Church of God in Christ) has passed away at the age of 68. The proud openly gay baptist minister was the Plummer Professor of Christian Morals and Pusey Minister in the Memorial Church at Harvard University was a longtime Republican. He died of complications of a stroke.
