Former BET Employee Fired for Reporting Sexual Harassment
A former BET producer was outraged with the conduct of a fellow employee in actions she states was sexual harassment. A lawsuit was filed on April 13th by Tameika Dorman who accused a co-worker of ‘repeatedly playing footage of the rapper Nicki Minaj’s behind while producing a segment for BET.com,’ reported by EurWeb.
In 2009, according to Dorman, she was editing video with a former co worker named Derek Clarke for a prerecorded show she was to produce and host for BET. The lawsuit papers state:
