Bishop Long and Apostle Avila Had Disagreement over Taylor Long’s Education
We had a staff member watch the sermon of Bishop Long’s church New Birth on last Sunday. We didn’t think much of it when Bishop Long stated Apostle Raul Avila disagreed with Long’s daughter Taylor going to a public university. But in the wake of his daughter not being permitted to march at her high school graduation, we thought it had some significance.

We found out more information on what really prevented Bishop Long’s daughter Taylor Long from walking the stage at her high school graduation. Apparently a parent tipped off the news and the school about Taylor not having the appropriate credits to graduate.

Bishop Long’s Daughter Didn’t Walk Stage of Her Graduation Due to Lack of Credits
Wow! How did Bishop Long and his wife not know about this? Was it just a secret being of all of the drama going on in their lives that his daughter Taylor would have some significant problems in her studies?
Here’s the report released yesterday:
The DeKalb County School System is investigating whether proper procedure was followed when the daughter of a prominent pastor was nearly allowed to graduate from high school this spring without the necessary credits.

Bishop Eddie Long falls out as Apostle Raul Avila prays for him at July 3, 2011 service
On Sunday, Fourth of July weekend, Bishop Long had another service that was unlike his usual routine. After all of the news about the four men who accused Bishop Long of sexual misconduct, we assume nothing will ever be the same at New Birth M.B.C in Atlanta.
This Sunday service was packed into one as New Birth will only have one service on Sundays throughout the summer. The guest speaker and minister was Apostle Raul Avila of Christ for All Nations Center from Venezuela.

Accuser Jamal Parris’ Arrest Had All the Tell-Tale Signs Of A Drug Dealer
Bishop Long’s accuser Jamal Mohammad Michael Parris was stopped by Florida Highway Patrol officer on Tuesday night for no tags on his brand new 2011 BMW. Sgt. Seth Dubinsky stopped the car. When he approached it, he smelled marijuana.
While Dubinsky found 181 grams of marijuana, 50 clear plastic baggies, a Taurus semiautomatic handgun and $1,250 in cash, he knew this was a drug deal in the making. He stated what he found was “indicative of a drug dealer.”

Bishop Eddie Long’s Accuser Jamal Parris Arrested for Marijuana and Gun Possession
Jamal Parris was very pivotal in the involvement of the sexual misconduct case against Bishop Eddie Long. His interview with Fox 5 News Atlanta’s I-Team was very believable as many felt.
Well, the young man is in some real trouble of his own which has nothing to do with Bishop Eddie Long. According to Fox 5 News, about one month after the settlements of Bishop Long were paid to the young men, accuser Jamal Parris was stopped by a Florida Highway Patrol trooper and was arrested and charged with felony count of marijuana distribution and use of firearm during commission of a felony. The arrest took place in Miami Beach, where the I-Team is told Jamal Parris has been living for the past three weeks.

Bishop Long May Be In Court to Take Witness Stand in Burglary Case
Though Bishop Long was able to avoid going to trial in the sexual misconduct case with four young men who accused him of sexual coercion, he may be called to the stand as a witness in the burglary trial.
Anthony Boyd, who formerly worked at Bishop Long’s New Birth Church as a security guard, is accused of breaking into Long’s office on June 12, 2010 and stealing $100,000 worth of jewelry and electronics, including an iPad and iPhone. On Tuesday, he appeared with his lawyer David Fife in court to enter a not guilty plea to the burglary charges, reports Christian Post.

New Birth Accused Break-In Anthony Boyd Arrives to Court in Limo
The young man whose the only one left being accused of breaking into Bishop Eddie Long’s New Birth Church office last June, appeared in court Tuesday. He not only appeared in court but when he arrived, he did so in a Cadillac Escalade chauffeured limousine.
The accused Anthony Boyd was all smiles coming out of his fancy car. We are not sure why he showed up to court to make a showcase appearance for the cameras but he did not seem very worried this time about the case.

Bishop George Bloomer Reviving Bishop Long’s Hip Hop Church, New Birth?
On Sunday, Bishop George Bloomer, senior pastor of Bethel Family Worship Center Church in North Carolina, preached both services at Bishop Long’s New Birth church. We were not sure what to expect from Bishop George Bloomer because he preached some at the beginning and then it turned into a stand up comedy show. He clowned around and preached about how some people are not anointed for certain positions in the church. He stated some people should not be rewarded with giving the announcements if they can not speak; or ushers should not be in a wheelchair (Hovearound) as they will get stuck going down the aisles.

Suspect Anthony Boyd in Bishop Long’s New Birth Burglary Speaks Out
Anthony Boyd is one of the young men who burglarized Bishop Long’s New Birth M.B.C’s office last year. Boyd and two other young men were implicated in last June’s theft — both of whom later filed a civil lawsuit alleging sexual misconduct against Long. Only Maurice Robinson was charged with burglary; suspect Anthony Flagg was not charged due to a lack of evidence.
