So, one news report came out today about the future of the late Zachery Tims’ church New Destiny Christian Center. It suggests that Paula White made a statement to the church that she was keeping a promise to them:

We are wondering why prosperity pimping preaching is not working for some. Rapper Mase who turned to preaching the gospel has some issues with the IRS. Apparently, he’s either not taking care of his business or using those church donations for something other than paying Uncle Sam. We really pray that some of these wanna be preachers start taking God seriously because perpetrating a man of God is a serious problem.

We, as Christian Americans may not realize how blessed we are to live in a land of freedom. We can, for the most part, worship our God where and when we want, as long as it does not infringe or harm others. Though we are having some increasing incidences where people are being challenged and some prohibited to have bible study in their homes or other places, we, as Americans have it pretty good, don’t you think?

Apparently, Pastor Joel Peebles, who was fired by the church his mother and father founded years ago, has staying power. Even though the Jericho City of Praise church board allegedly found a reason to kick the pastor out of his church, he is going forth.

Pastor Joel Peebles picked up where he left off and preached to a full house this past Sunday at “the ballroom, overflow room and the hotel Lobby of the Metro Points Hotel in New Carrollton”, says our friends at The Church Lady Blogs.

We want to pray for the family of the Pastor Delono Straham and his congregation as they have lost his mother to a violent gun shootout at the church.

A pastor’s mother was shot and killed when a gunman opened fire in a Colorado church Sunday, FOX 31 reports.

Yolanda Marant, a representative for The Destiny Center, confirmed to FOX 31 that 65-year-old Josephine Eccles, the mother of the church’s pastor Delono Straham, was shot and killed when a unknown gunman entered the church and began shooting.
