AT2W Staff This issue applies to generations of black women whom think they cannot grow their own hair. On this blog, we have told you time and time again to grow your long hair. We have forewarned you that God does not want black women to wear hair that they did not grow. We feel very sad for this woman in London, but these cases will keep coming about until black women let go of the old myth that black women cannot grow long hair, which is a lie from the pit of hell. This black woman had her whole life ahead of her, only 35 years old. Atasha Graham died from an allergic reaction from the glue that was in the hairstyle extended to her head.

Should The LBGT Community Be Bridged with Civil Rights or Is It Spiritually Wrong?
We find this to be very disturbing news yet addressing it is needed. Maya Rupert is the federal policy director of the National Center for Lesbian Rights. Her work gears around bringing equal rights in all areas of life to the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) population, says NewsOne.
“For me, LGBT rights has always been about basic fairness and equality,” says Maya Rupert. “All people deserve the right to be who they are, and live their lives free from discrimination, harassment, and violence,” says Rupert.

AT2W Staff We are sadden that another black celebrity has one into judgement, this time because of an alleged suicide. Don Cornelius is respected among many rich and famous African American celebrities and has even included awards at the annual Soul Train Music Awards event for gospel music artists. Many alleged gospel artists have performed at the ceremony: Mary Mary, Bebe and CeCe Winans, Kirk Franklin, Dorinda Clark Cole, (First Lady) Karen Clark and KiKi Sheard, Donnie McClurkin and many others. We want you to know each and every last gospel artists is assigned to ministry and should not have mingled with the secular music industry to be like them as celebrities. Now that Don Cornelius is gone, we wonder if any of them think about how they could have witnessed to him about salvation? There should be some sort of remorse for performing on the Soul Train Music Awards and competing to win, instead of only aiming to win Don Cornelius to surrender his soul to Jesus Christ. If they have, praise God for it, but we doubt it.

AT2W Staff Last week, we gave you heads up on how this respectful Atlanta Police Officer died at the young age of only 46 years old. Senior Officer, Gail Thomas lost her life to a drunk driver, something that could have been prevented and stopped through state legislatures, across this nation. We believe those whom get behind the wheel of the car while intoxicated should face the death penalty or at least get a life sentence, because manslaughter is not enough. This late police officer, Gail Thomas leaves behind a 22 year-old daughter, Jasmine who is the same age as her mother killer.

AT2W Staff Of course, whenever people are found dead, ‘execution style’ in their homes, most likely it is because of drugs. Many people whom have heard of this horrific tragedy in Birmingham, Alabama think drugs is most likely the reason these five men were found dead, execution style. However, the wife of one of the murder victims is mourning the death of her husband is trying to figure out what actually happened. If drugs is the reason for this crime, then it was bound to occur, because the history of drug dealers and drug users almost always reap fatal consequences. Why? Because it is illegal and those who deal drugs have no consideration for humanity. Therefore, although drugs may have always been the discreet financial gain of politicians, the people whom are willing to buy or sell it should take responsibility for it remaining in America. Rebellion among those who willingly involve themselves in the underworld of the drug capitol has already made funeral morticians rich.

AT2W Staff Dear black women, we urge you to be careful when you are driving in your car, whether at work or just in your leisure time. This faithful hardworking police officer, Gail Thomas, 46, was struck and killed by an alleged drunk driver Tuesday night by a 22-year-old drunk driver. We encourage you to pray before you leave the house in your vehicle, anytime of the day or night. These drunk drivers never stop getting behind the wheel of a car without thinking they are endangering lives. We are very angry, because this is among thousands of other cases that has occurred for many years and when these drunk drivers are convicted, they only receive man slaughter.
