Upon Brandy Norwood’s Break Up with Fiance’, She Works on Gospel Album

R&B star Brandy Norwood has announced that she ended her engagement with her fiance’ and that they have broken up. As a way to get through it, she also has coupled up with Kirk Franklin and take time to record gospel music.

The Walls Group is a young gospel quartet comprised of four siblings hailing out of Houston, Texas. Their single “Perfect People” has already made an impact throughout the gospel community and a collaboration with Norwood can only help launch them further.

There has been talk that the singer/actress would venture into gospel music since late last year. Norwood is the daughter of former gospel singer and choir director Willie Norwood and got her start singing in the church choir. The 35-year-old star was raised in a Christian home and has often accredited gospel technique in assisting her with her own music.

During an interview with The James Fortune Show, Norwood stated she had been seriously thinking of recording a “gospel/inspirational album.” She went on said, “That would be a dream come true, because there’s so many people that want to be uplifted and are craving for that soul truthful music.”
