Whitney Houston’s Grave and Headstone Revealed to Public
The late popular pop singing diva, Whitney Houston was buried at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, New Jersey. Her headstone is made out of marble and in the shape of a teardrop with a heart inside with her face on it. Below her face reads:“Whitney E. Houston Aug. 9 1963 – Feb. 11 2012 “The Voice”.”
The headstone also includes the song title ‘I Will Always Love You’, encrypted right below the heart. The song was originally a Dolly Parton track which was a best-selling Number One single for Houston in 1992.
Whitney Houston’s cause of death was drowning combined with the effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use. Houston passed away on February 11 2012 at the age of 48, after she was discovered underwater and unconscious in a bath at a hotel in Beverly Hills, says NME.
