I find it awfully hypocritical that black and white evangelicals claim they are voting God values, when the presidential candidate they support is a Mormon. By all Christian accounts, Mormonism is a cult; their doctrine is very much anit-Christ. (Research their beliefs, especially about Jesus. On the surface it sounds Biblical, but a more in depth look reveals something altogether different.)
Somehow someone who is anti-Christ but against SSM and pro-life is better than someone who supports SSM and is pro-choice. Last I read, the Bible is replete with scriptures warning saints about the spirit of the anti-Christ. If the Bible is truth, and indeed it is, this (the spirit of the anti-Christ) is a sin too! In fact, 2 John admonishes us not to even receive such a person in our homes.
If AT2W and other evangelicals were honest and truly voting God values, then neither of you could vote for either candidate. If you don’t like President Obama’s policies, then say so. But do not pretend your vote come November is a God thing; it certainly is not. I find the willful… and deafening silence from the evangelical community on Romney’s faith appalling.
SMB40, let us first say you are very ignorant to call us ignorant. We never said to vote for anyone. However, we believe what Dr. Tony Evans said about voting for the presidential candidate who comes close to believing in God’s biblical values. Therefore, if Mitt Romney is anti-Christ, then so is Obama. Also, we do know about Mormonism, but there is nothing we can do about it, no one who is completely holy is running for president. Neither candidate is fit and SSM, same sex marriage is just as much a sin at being in an occult. When you find the perfect presidential candidate, please let us know and we will vote for that candidate. Furthermore, read your Bible, it says both the homosexuals and the occult will be placed into hell, if they do not repent. God bless you.
