Ronald Fails, Lima Pastor of Grace Church Worldwide Arrested In Prostitution Sting [UPDATE]
A pastor of Lima Ohio was arrested in a prostitution sting this week said Wednesday he is innocent and waiting his day in court. Pastor Ronald Fails of Grace Church Worldwide Ministries said he will defend himself in court not through the media, so obviously he refuses to speak to reporters.
“I’m innocent until proven guilty,” he said what is usual when one maybe guilty, nothing new. However, we were expecting for Pastor Fails to say I am being falsely accused and do not understand why I was arrested or something equivalent to it, not the usual defense of a guilty conscious.
Fails was one of five people arrested late Tuesday and early Wednesday in connection with a prostitution sting targeting an area of complaints between South Main and South Elizabeth streets and West Vine and West Kibby streets, said Lima Police Lt. Patrick Coon.
Fails, 53, is charged with two counts of soliciting and one count of loitering to engage in soliciting. He is scheduled to appear at an arraignment Friday at Lima Municipal Court. He was released after his arrest, Coon said.
Fails was in his car when he approached “an undercover operative” posing as a prostitute and solicited her, Coon said.
Police used two undercover women for men to approach and two undercover men to approach women on the street offering prostitution, Coon said.
We are wondering when all of this sexual misconduct is going to stop among these prominent pastors. If we in the body of Christ are tired, we cannot imagine how God feels, but we know know he is angry at what has been going on in the private moments of these pastors when they are not in the pulpit preaching out of His Word. When will it ever stop. Ronald Fails is one of many who think as though he is above those in the pews. It seems like these pastors are repobated and there is no turning back. This news is very scary while we have just heard of Zachery Tims death, these other pastors think nothing will ever happen to them. Ronald Fails has been married to his wife, Carol since 1979, according to his church website. How come he allegedly desires prostitutes instead of private moments with her? It’s just not right to be with someone that long and to be allegedly caught in a prostitution sting, not once, but twice. We hope Pastor Fails gets his business straight with God before it is everlasting too late.

UPDATE on August 23, 2012:
In February 2012, Pastor Ronald Fails was convicted of soliciting undercover police officers for sex but he said it wasn’t his intent to follow through with any sexual acts with the women.
He plead no contest to one count of soliciting. In exchange for the plea, city prosecutors dropped a second count of soliciting and a charge of loitering to engage in solicitation.
Judge William Lauber found Fails guilty and sentenced him to 10 days in the Allen County Jail and to pay court costs.
“He had driven through the neighborhood several times and finally pulled over to the side of the road waiting for the women to approach. When they reached the passenger side of the vehicle, Mr. Fails already had the passenger window rolled down,” Hudson said. “Immediately he engaged the women in conversation and asked what they were willing to do. [The officer] asked him what he wanted to do and Mr. Fails” made a sexually explicit request. Source

I feel that God has tired big time about what is going on!! What we are witnessing is the fall of a lot of ministers that have no business being ministers in the first place!!!! If we took a poll of these guys, we would see that this is their aspiration and that none of them have been called of God! God equips the called and having been processed of God, you will not do some of the things these guys have been accused of. Father, move the way You want to and continue sweeping the trash out of Your pulpits. They are hurting people big time!!!
Yes Apostle Yates, God is very tired of these ministers not taking him serious. As you know, we forewarned our readers before this last tragedy happened and we will possibly see more, because they are taking his demands of righteousness, lightly. God loves people, but will send his wrath when they disobey and ignore Him. Many ministers should step down before they lose their souls. God bless you and keep reading AT2W.
