AT2W’s Teacher’s Hall of Shame: Math Teacher Caught Having Affair with Male Student
This soccer coach and algebra teacher, Stacy Walker was arrested for having a sexual relationship with a 16 year old student. The teacher Stacy Walker, 34, was arrested on Monday and charged with sexual battery under the position of trust statute.
The authorities are looking into whether the teacher/coach had affairs with other boys at Richland High School in Rankin County, Mississippi.
Walker has been released on a $25,000 bond and if she is found guilty she could face up to 30 years in prison as well as losing her teaching license.
The affair with the then 16 year old student occurred toward the end of the school year and into the summer months.
Stacy Walker has cooperated with investigators and has admitted to having an inappropriate relationship with the teen.
