Kidnapped Carlina White Will Now Air Her Story on Lifetime: The Carlina White Story

Shooting is underway for the Lifetime Original Movie “Abducted: The Carlina White Story” airing later this year. The movie is based on a true story about a young woman (Carlina White) who is reunited with her biological parents 23 years after she was abducted from a New York hospital. Actress, Keke Palmer (“True Jackson”, “VP”) will star as Carlina in the upcoming film.

Now in her mid-20s, Carlina’s story is still in the headlines with her kidnapper’s (Ann Pettway) sentencing that just took place this week. Pettway pleaded guilty to a federal kidnapping charge earlier this year and will now face 12 years in prison and 3 years probation.

The movie is slated to be aired late this year.
