9 Year Old Abuses Toddlers at Daycare

The reign of terror that was held by the 9 year old at Kiddie City Child Care Center (located in Vicksburg, MS) came to an end when an angry father came to the center seeking justice for his abused toddler. His child came home with bruises, a busted lip and bite marks and the workers could not explain what happened to his child. The father, in his rage, came in the center and slapped a child who he thought was responsible for the child’s injuries. He was subsequently arrested for his actions, but the situation prompted investigation and the truth was revealed.

The inexplicable, reckless and abusive behavior shown by this 9 year old was caught on tape. He literally terrorized children for several minutes at a time while the workers paid him no attention. The actions of both the 9 year old and the daycare workers are inexcusable. Police also arrested Sandra Travillion, daycare worker, on 2 counts of contributing to the neglect of a  minor. Parents send their children to daycare centers to be nurtured and taken care of  in their absence, not beaten and mistreated. This is just a cold reminder of the world we are living in and the need for us to continuously pray for the protection of our children.
