Georgia Mass Choir “Joy” Believe it Or Not Written by Kirk Franklin
This song is by Georgia Mass Choir even if you don’t believe Kirk Franklin wrote and sang on this song. I can see how gospel music was starting to get a bit ‘flip’ in this song. I can’t believe churches and preachers allowed him to be become so carnal in the church. Kirk Franklin had been directing choirs for years before he turned hip hop. But for some reason everyone went along with his new sound and embraced it like they couldn’t wait to ‘get down in the church’.
Well, this is NOT an example of gospel music set apart because of all I mentioned above.
