Benny Hinn and Wife Suzanne Reconcile Yet Need Financial Assistance in Ministry?

The news around the evangelical community is that evangelist and pastor Benny Hinn and his wife Suzanne have restored and reconciled their marriage.

The Christian Post reported: Suzanne Hinn separated from Benny Hinn on Jan. 26, 2010 and filed a petition for divorce in Orange County Superior Court on Feb. 1, citing irreconcilable differences, court papers revealed.

Some are stating that this is just another tactic to get news and press on his ministry and a way to funnel in more money by using the reconciliation. Well, we are not very fond of Hinn and he’s really no different than many of the other prosperity preachers. So, what would stop him from ‘cashing in’ on this?

“It all began at Christmas when we were together at Suzanne’s house in Orlando, Florida. Suzanne and I and all of our children and grandchildren were there. It was a beautiful day I will never forget, and that is when the Lord began to do His mighty work… The covenant we made with God more than 30 years ago was never broken in His sight. Both of us believe our greatest days are ahead and the best is yet to come…”

Benny Hinn and wife Suzanne will share more about their ‘getting back togetherness’ on a special show on This is Your Day on June 7-8th. We are pretty sure that will be a big event for sharing and most of all for Hinn to receive more money from those who believe this is a real reconciliation and not another business decision and money making scheme.

“Our marriage died for two reasons. One, I, Benny Hinn, was married to the ministry, not realizing it was killing my marriage. And two, Suzanne started taking certain prescription medications to help her cope with some of her personal struggles. She became dependent on those for nearly 15 years, and those medications made her behave erratically at times. As her husband, I did not know what kinds of medicine she was taking or realize what they were doing to her…”

We must note that on August 5, 2010 Hinn stated on his This is Your Day show: “I’ve made mistakes because I wasn’t the perfect husband and the perfect dad because I was always gone traveling the world.”

Let us not forget that Benny Hinn and the woman many have labeled a Jezebel, Pastor Paula White, were seen leaving a hotel holding hands in Italy last summer. Hinn never admits or mentions infidelity may have caused the break up between he and his wife. He only admitted to having a ‘friendship’ with White. Hinn publicly stated he “forcefully, categorically and absolutely renounce(s) the lies that have been spread about me and want to set the record straight with you. There is nothing inappropriate or morally improper about my friendship with Paula White. There has been no immorality whatsoever!” Source

Also, let us make note that wife Suzanne looks presumably different in appearance. She has noticeably lost weight and dyed her hair blonde. While she looks younger and vibrant, is she taking on a similar look to Pastor Paula White who allegedly had an affair with Benny Hinn? Paula White also went through a divorce from former husband and pastor of Without Walls Church International in 2010. Again, no one is dealing with this issue either.

So, as we stated, Benny Hinn is allegedly using this reconciliation as a way to bring in some extra cash and possibly rebuild his ministry on the press it will bring. Check out the plea he makes on his website:

“Not only did our family suffer as a result (the divorce, that is), but the ministry also suffered greatly. Many partners walked away, not realizing or knowing what took place and why. But I believe that the Lord is restoring not just my family but also the ministry.

And then comes the pitch for Benny Hinn supporters to give money to the ministry.

I need you as my partner today more than ever. And I promise you I will continue to preach the Gospel with all my heart and with Suzanne at my side. She and I will travel the world together, ministering the Gospel and the power of God. And we both believe that God will not only save lives and heal bodies but will also heal families. God is no respecter of persons, and if He did it for us, He will do it for others.

We are sure he asked for more money when his wife left and now he wants those who will, to give because they are back together. What a crock!!
