NJ Man Sues Walmart for $1 Million, Says He’s Traumatized By PA Announcement Against Blacks

A Winslow, New Jersey man, Donnell Battie is suing WalMart for $1 million dollars. He claims he was traumatized by a public address announcement that was directed at black shoppers in March 2010. The announcement made by a 16 year old boy stated: ‘Attention, Wal-Mart customers. All black people must leave the store.’

Donnell Battie claims that the intercom system at the WalMart on the Black Horse Pike in Washington Township was hijacked, according to a Daily Mail report.

News reports stated the manager at the Walmart superstore apologized and the accused 16 year old P.A. culprit was arrested on harassment and bias intimidation charges.

Since the date of the incident, Battie alleges it caused him to suffer depression, anxiety, anger, loss of sleep, loss of appetite, paranoia and to suffer from anti-social tendencies.

The WalMart store as since publicly apologized for the incident and has made adjustments so this won’t happen again.

We can tell that racism is alive and well in America and its coming from a teenager who evidently has issues with blacks. All we can say is blacks need to be true and love one another because there will always be people who don’t like us. Things have never really changed and to be honest. Its coming back stronger in many ways.
