To answer Melvin Johnson’s question, in our opinion, absolutely yes, many pastors of the black church have made President Obama more important than God.   The reason why we feel this way, is because prominent pastors like Pastor Jamal Bryant claim he does not agree with same-sex marriage, but he would rather vote for President Obama than Mitt Romney.   It seems like many of them are more focused on race, than spiritual issues.
