Dominique Strauss-Kahn Files $1 Million Defamation Claim Against Housekeeper

Dominique Strauss-Kahn is making headlines again but this time, he’s in control. Strauss-Kahn always maintained anything that happened between he and the hotel housekeeper Nafissatou Diallo was purely consensual. He is now suing the hotel housekeeper who accused him of sexually assaulting her, saying she seriously damaged his reputation with what he calls a bogus allegation.

Dominique Strauss-Kahn, the former International Monetary Fund leader and French presidential hopeful has filed a $1million defamation claim against Diallo. It has been exactly one year  after she told police he tried to rape her in his Manhattan hotel suite.

We are not sure how he will get the money from her since she doesn’t have any but we assume he’s only doing it to try and repair his image, possibly for revenge and for principle reasons. This case was odd from the beginning and we don’t think many people believed the housekeeper in the first place.
