Singer Bobby Brown Gets Shining Spotlight, Thanks to Whitney’s Passing

Mr. Bobby Brown is certainly getting a lot of press lately. He’s been on several interviews speaking about Whitney Houston, his and her addiction and how he had nothing to do with her addiction (of course).

He’s also allegedly going to star in a new reality show about his life. (Not sure who would watch him because he’s a train wreck all by himself).

He’s even announced his wedding to longtime fiance’ will be in June this year. (How lovely and convenient?)

Oh yes, ol’ Bobby Brown is soaking up the spotlight again but is it on his own merit? Of course not. He’s enjoying the fruits of his labor. What labor, you may ask? Well, he successfully helped Whitney nearly ruin her life on drugs and it seems that is what took her out. He can tell the world he had nothing to do with it if he wants, but everyone knows that Whitney Houston was most likely not a cocaine addict before she met Bobby.

So, he’s enjoying how he contributed to her ultimate demise and if he didn’t, he wouldn’t be so gung ho on getting as much money as he can off her death. Truth be told, he’s only getting some press because of her death. We don’t think people really care that much about the trouble making New Edition band member.

The newest thing happening for Bobby Brown is his announcement of release a new album after 14 years. (Can he even hold a note anymore?)

Huffington Post reported:

Bobby Brown says he’s ready to return to his solo career with the album “Masterpiece,” due out June 5.

“It’s what I’ve been through throughout my life, and just trying to heal myself through my music,” the 43-year-old singer said in a recent interview.

“Masterpiece” is Brown’s first album in 14 years.

“When you’re working on yourself, you have to really concentrate on working on yourself and it takes a back seat to what you want to do and what I’m gonna do,” he said.

It’s not a coincidence that he chose to do so soon after Whitney Houston’s death. That’s so convenient.

Brown says “Masterpiece,” which he started working on last year, is “the best album I’ve done so far.

“But I’m going to do better in the near future,” he said. “I just want to get back to what I do, which is entertainment, and this is the start to me getting back to what I want to do.”

“I’m happy right now in my life, I’m comfortable with who I am,” he said. “It’s just better.”

Bobby Brown is much less a ‘masterpiece’ and more a piece of work. He’s confident he can’t get money from a book deal due to stipulations from his divorce with Whitney but he’s going to CASH in the best way he can. In our opinion, Bobby Brown cared a rat’s behind for Whitney but one things for sure: He’ll never live as well as he did when he was with Whitney.

The LOVE of money is the root…. Must we say anymore?
