In Matthew 6:24, it says: ‘No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.’ After listening to this interview between the two of these individuals, Sophia Nelson and Michael Eric Dyson, they both seem to be headed down the path of God’s wrath.
We heard them both claim to be born again Christians and Michael Eric Dyson admitted he is an ordained minister for over 30 years. Their hypocrisy caused us to fear for their souls, because when we heard Minister Mary K. Baxter’s testimony of various Christians and ministers in hell, it was because of their fear to preach holiness, greed for fame and fortune and double lifestyles, it was scary. They both will have to answer to God for agreeing with alleged sin, according to God’s Word. Neither one of these individuals can claim to be saved and agree with any sort of commitment between same-sex couple, whether it be marriage…Read full article, here.

The video on the debate was very interesting to watch, but I believe there was confusion on Dysons part and compromise Nelsons part, Dyson ‘argued’ on literal interpetation “..if one interpets literally, gays should be killed..” the confusion will end when people learn to read scripture in its proper historical context, scripture uses literal, metaphorical, allegorical and parable language to make the point..
M.L.K said, “The law can’t make a man love me, but it can keep him from hanging me, and thats pretty good too..” thats the point!
a young man was stoned to death for picking up a bundle of wood on the Sabbath, both adulterers were to be stoned also, no one would condone that today, God forbad divorce, but Jesus said “Moses permitted it because of the ‘hardness’ of the heart..” Matt 19:8
Law was designed to keep peoples lawless actions in check, i.e.
The death penalty for murder would in most cases make a person think twice before commiting the act, in fear of losing ones own life-
Jesus said murder & adultery begins (before the act) in the heart!
Matt 5:20-21/Matt 5:27-28
the Law couldn’t control the inner desires, because by the law comes the knowledge of sin Rom 7:7
Jesus’ enemies wanted to kill him “because he done these (good) deeds on the Sabbath..”
God instituted marriage between a man and woman, from the Beginning! “..what God has joined let not man tear it apart” Matt 10:6
Civil authority is to protect society from law breakers Rom 13:3-4
thats why I disagree with Ms Nelson
Hi Jerry, so sorry it took so long for us to get back to this comment.
However, it is not a good thing when people take the scripture out of context, because while they are confused about God’s Word, many lost souls will agree with them and have no clear direction of how to be saved and remain fully committed to God. It is so very important for Christians to read scriptures, very carefully, because their twisted minds are not worth losing one soul. So thanks for your scriptures and explaining them, it really helps.
God bless you and stay strong in the Lord.
