Jericho City of Praise Board Rejects Joel Peebles Offer to Buy Mother’s Home

This is just a shame how the church board of Jericho City of Praise have absolutely no respect for Pastor Joel Peebles. Its been a great big mess since the Apostle Betty Peebles passed away. This church board has a heart of stone and God’s watching and He will take care of those who manipulate and do evil against others.

So take a look at what our friends at The Church Lady Blogs had to say with this new update of the battle between the church board and Joel Peebles:

Since The Trustee Board of Jericho City of Praise mega church  fired Pastor Joel Peebles,  he has been on fire preaching to more than 3,000 worship every Sunday.  Now all y’all know that when we praise God even in storms, the devil gets mad.

Since his mother’s death,  Pastor Joel Peebles has continued the course  of fulfilling the Great Commission speaking in love and truth, we all know that the devil can’t have that going on  so I guess one would be able to rationalize  why Pastor Joel Peebles was denied the right to purchase his mother’s home recently and told to come get the belongings before they are auctioned! Recently Pastor Joel received a series of e-mails regarding his mother’s house and personal property. First, the trustees of the estate gave Pastor Joel an unreasonable amount of time to come to his mother’s house, to look and see what was there and to arrange to remove any of the personal property (furniture, clothes etc.).  Of course that is if anything was left in the house after the rogue board members allegedly took what they wanted.  After Apostle’s death, it was reported that these rogue board members were seen coming out of the residence loaded with trash bags and boxes of stuff. Hmm!!!

Secondly, Pastor Joel R. Peebles’s offer to purchase his mother’s house was rejected recently.  The personal Representatives/Executor’s (the Freeman’s) would not even show mercy or grace to him (common courtesy).  Come on!  These “Christians” would not afford Pastor Joel and the Peebles family the opportunity to keep the home that they the nieces and nephews spent their childhood and holidays in, to remain in that family.  Wow!!!

So, as you can see the church board won’t even take cash money for the property. The bad part is that Pastor Michael and Dee Dee Freeman, the executors, were the ones to reject the offer of purchase. This is interesting since the word has been that Pastor Michael Freeman allegedly wants the church for himself. We are waiting to see who gets the church when the board makes their decision. Unlike the board at the late Zachery Tims’ church New Destiny, Jericho City of Praise may possibly get them a husband and wife team if the Freemans are really on a quest to take pastoralship of the church. We shall see, won’t we?

They surely have a personal vendetta, it appears, against Pastor Joel Peebles and God sees all of this. As the old folks used to say: “He’s lookin’ and He’s bookin’ “. It appears to be clear that they will step on his toes at all costs to assure he gets nothing from the memory of his mother and the church.

Let’s continue to pray for all involved in this because God is not pleased of the evil coming out of some individuals to cause hell for others.
